A lot of you guys have asked me where I like to blog.
No BS, my favorite way to blog is to go to a restaurant & sit by myself.
Usually it’s a coffee shop & I’ll order a espresso shot or lately, a cappuccino with cinnamon. But I also have this whole sushi restaurant routine: I wear sweats & tee and bring my computer to the sushi bar. While blogging I order my favorite veggie roll: avocado, carrots, jalapeños, a little spicy mayo, & ginger, a miso soup, and a hot green tea. Sometimes when I’m feeling wild, I’ll have a glass of pinto grigio. It’s this little hole in the wall sushi restaurant so it’s the perfect place to concentrate & get shit done.
Something about sitting by myself at restaurant, blogging, inspires me. Weird?

These shots were taken at the coffee shop underneath my house called Aristan Bento. Besides my hole in the wall sushi restaurant, it’s my other favorite place to blog. It has this big window so there’s LOTS of light & it perfect for people watching while I work.
Anyway just wanted to give you guys a peak in to where I love to blog when I’m not in my office. Sometimes getting outside of the everyday work space makes me feel more creative/inspired/peaceful.

Typically when I’m out blogging, I’ll bring a camera in case there’s anything interesting to shoot.
Since my regular camera is SO F-ING HEAVY, this white polaroid fits perfect in my oversized purse. Plus it’s lightweight, chic, & takes instant pics. Polaroids are so #TBT in the best way possible so it’s fun to use them to decorate around the home.

Long ago I use to love blogging at home, but now I’m all about coffee shops! I feel like the smell of coffee and the sound of the expresso machine get the creative juice going.
Yesssss. The smell of coffee is the best.
Love that camera! The electronic shops here sell a mini printer that will print pics from your phone onto the same little Polaroids. It’s on my Christmas wishlist~
I miss eating alone and finding creative spaces outside the home. That’s my biggest grief about moving to a small town, the closest cafe is an hour train ride away.
I need that printer!! Sounds so cool!!

I’m with you on the coffee shops. I have never tried blogging at a restaurant, but it sounds like it would be a cool environment. Plus I’d be extra pumped to eat some good food while working haha. But I totally agree sometimes you have to get out of the house to feel inspired and be around people..even if you don’t necessarily talk to anyone, it helps!
That’s so cool you blog from a sushi restaurant. I blog from my kitchen counter. That’s where I am right now. But I could always go for a veggie roll and glass of pinot grigio. 🙂
I love coffee shop blogging! It makes me feel so chic 🙂 plus it’s how I get my best blog inspiration. I find out all the latest trends by eaves dropping on coffee shop conversations. It’s literally how I found out that you can grind your own almond butter at whole foods. So yeah, totally support the coffee shop blogging movement!

I always blog from home (unless I’m traveling) but since I don’t have a set office it varies between my dinner table and my couch!!
I would actually love to get out and blog from a cafe, especially if it gets me out of the house. The whole thing that stops me is having to lug my laptop around!
