WATERMELON PINK FROSÉ: Just The Best Refreshing DIY Cocktail

ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF “I DON’T MEAN TO BRAG BUT…”

Sorry if it offends you but I’m really smooth in the kitchen. Sure, I’m quick, careless, & clueless BUT all that matters is that I get ‘er done, ya know? And well, I do get it done. I may be late all the time sometimes but what can ya do?

We’ve all see this basic B recipe floating around Pinterest as much as we’ve seen the wedding Mason jar. I know, I know- riveting. But stay with me.

WHY?

Well because this is Frosé with a TWIST. THE TWIST IS THAT IT’S WATERMELON. You know, instead of strawberries. Ok, ok so it isn’t like a grand twist. But it IS a twist.

Let’s call it basic B Frosé on crack.

Whatever. Your friends will like it & it all takes 5 seconds so it’s a win/win, really.

Firstly, you should know I’m quite proud of myself because I whipped together this recipe on a whim.

I love a whim.

There’s nothing better than throwing together shit at the last-minute to have it all come together ( Mimi is thrilled with me always- I’m sure you can imagine ).

In my defense, it did come together. And this shit was GOOD. Like I want it this Friday-good. You will too. Plus what I like about this recipe is it appears to have taken a long time, BUT PLOT TWIST!! IT TAKES 1 SECOND. No boiling involved.

Because no one has time to boil.

( * Also let’s please take note of the white wine cups I used- these are extra special because I made Michael fly down about 423429834 million of these to our wedding. You can’t forget my bachelorette party. It was quite LITERALLY not complete without them. I would have canceled it if I didn’t get my white wine glasses- MY POOR FRIENDS! ).

WATERMELON STRAWBERRY FROZEN Rosé:

+ your favorite rosé ( I used Day Owl )
+ LOTS of ice
+ watermelon chunks
+ a splash of watermelon juice
+ strawberries

+ directions: combine ice & some rosé to begin. Blend to create slushiness. Add watermelon, juice, strawberries, & more rosé. Blend ( I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NUTRIBULLET ). Pour into chilled glasses & serve with pixy straws ( necessary ). Garnish with a strawberry slice.

Today has been uneventful because all I’ve done is bury my head in my computer. I did get a workout in, which is always ideal. However I have a huge pimple so my thick grey, disgusting pimple cream was covering my face all day ( the guys at the office think I’m NUTSO ). Like during the workout the pimple cream was even present. Ok I feel like you’re bored now. I’m off to read Ryan Holiday’s latest book. See you tomorrow.
