I completely made up my first vanity.
I was like 8, really 8, & I decided that my school desk was a real bore so secretly I turned it into a vanity.
Yup, yup, yup.
I stacked those yawn-ass math papers under my bed & went to work. Way more fun, huh?
I had the standing mirror, overly sweet perfume ( stole it from my mom ), a million Lip Smacker’s ( special shoutout to bubble gum ), Sun-In, & of course, my pink/purple/teal CABOODLES ( psst, duh! ).
Back then it was all about how many different color eye shadows I could collect. Now? Not so much. I’m more about the tinted sunscreen & efficient organization methods. LOL.

By the way, I’m very much obsessed with two things on my vanity.
Number one is THIS VINTAGE LOOKING LIPSTICK HOLDER. Seriously though, every single girl in the world needs one. I think it’s possibly the cutest thing I own? Sometimes when Michael’s not looking I even display it on the dining room table. BUT ISN’T IT SWEET?
Number two is acrylic makeup organizers. They make a huge, huge difference on vanity tables. Here’s why: the whole see-through thing makes it appear like you’re not a cluttered hoarder ( aka me ). And you can store a bunch of shit/makeup in them & it looks super chic/organized. All of the ugly stuff that no one wants to look at goes in the clear makeup organizers on my vanity. It’s almost like an Instagram filter for your makeup, you know? Like everything looks clean & put together even though it’s not? You get it.
( Am I rapidly approaching my grandma years or does everyone else get as excited about lipstick holders as me? )
