Ahhh, I’ve been wanting to share this smoothie recipe with you guys FOREVER.

We’ve talked about collagen A LOT so it’s totally fitting to introduce you to: TSC Wrinkle Blaster, Collagen Smoothie.

That’s right a collagen smoothie AKA a smoothie that PREVENTS THE SIGNS OF AGING.

Um, YES plz.

Research shows that collagen reverses some signs of aging like fine lines, annoying wrinkles, & it also increases skin elasticity. NOT only does it reverse signs of aging, it also improves the skin’s moisture.

CORRECT, a smoothie that is just fully filled with benefits.

So to have it in a smoothie makes total sense, right? Especially when the collagen powder has raw organic greens that taste like natural coconut vanilla flavor. We’ve discussed collagen at length so I bet you’re not surprised that I found a way to put it in a smoothie. Especially because this magic green powder kills two birds with one stone: it contains 2 servings of organic greens + collagen AND it saves time.

On that note, let’s hop right into it, shall we?

This is the exact smoothie I’ve been whipping up before going to the office. It’s soooo easy, it’s laughable.

TSC Wrinkle Blaster, Collagen Smoothie

1 handful of spinach
1 handful of baby kale
1 handful of berries of your choice ( I like blueberries & raspberries )
½ ginger root
½ lemon, squeezed
1 scoop of bee pollen
1 heaping scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Greens
1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
Optional: add 1 scoop of raw coconut oil & / or a bit of royal jelly

+ directions: add ice to a blender & BLEND. CHEERS!

Here’s the trick to this though, have these ingredients on hand at all times. Trust me, you will end up eating all of them because they’re so versatile AND it will ensure you make a Wrinkle Blaster smoothie in the morning. It’s a win-win, really. I spend about $20 dollars at Trader Joe’s every Sunday so I’m prepared for the week. The collagen beauty greens powder lasts a very LONG time so you don’t really need to worry about that.

By the way, the collagen powder I use is gluten-free, contains NO ( zip, zero, zilch ) artificial sweetener, & it’s filled with Vitamin A. One scoop of this powder is the equivalent of two daily servings of greens – and all of the greens in this powder are organic. This blend is also packed with hyaluronic acid and probiotics, so you’re maximizing those beauty benefits. My hair & nails have grown like ten feet since incorporating daily collagen. Ok not ten, but you get it.

The berries are filled with antioxidants ( blueberries are amazing for the skin! ), bee pollen REALLY helps with seasonal allergies especially if it’s local, & ginger is an anti-inflammatory.

So yah, this is just an overall BEAUTY SMOOTHIE.

If you guys like this smoothie recipe, I will share more. Smoothies are just fabulous for a girl on the go ( & on a budget ). I’m a fan.

Okkkkk that’s all for now. Off to watch the latest episode of Housewives. Very much interested in LuAnn’s haircut accusations & Dorinda’s dramatic boyfriend.

  1. Love this smoothie! I am def going to make it. I also put collagen in my coffee and blend it! The coffee gets frothy latte like! Try it you will not regret it

    1. It’s been a total game changer in my routine. Give it a shot and let me know what you think Erin! xx

  2. Hi Lauryn, should I switch to the collagen powder instead of the organic gelatin I’ve been using? Or just do both? I watched the latest episode of real housewives yesterday and the fights are getting sooooo bad!! Kinda hilarious but also annoying, why can’t they just be friendly with each other and not gossip as much!? XO Richelle

    1. They have to keep us entertained LOL! I take both Richelle. I typically take collagen 5 times a week and gelatin about 3 times a week. xx

    1. I would definitely give collagen a shot Lauren. If you take it consistently you should notice a difference in your skin. I take mine about 5 times a week. Let me know how you like it! xx

  3. I can’t wait to make this smoothie!! I have been drinking bone broth daily for my collagen as I really need to grow my hair thicker and it’s been working, but I just picked up powered collagen because I feel it’s way easier to incorporate into your diet!

I love the idea of adding ginger!!

    xxoo

  4. Yum! That green powder looks so interesting – I love the idea of mixing it with greens. This is perfect for summer. My go to is coconut oil + hemp hearts + collagen + coffee – it’s like a WAY better bulletproof coffee! Collagen is seriously the biggest game-changer for health & beauty so I love seeing it in so many different ways and finding different ways to take it. Happy weekend! x Shannon

  5. More smoothie recipes please! I loveeee the idea of this one, but not so veg-friendly. Have you tried Moon Juice powders? They have funky herbs and smoothie additions like Sex Dust and Ho Shou Wu. And cute packaging (#important).

  6. I loveee this product as well as their collagen peptides (I add to my cold brew and almond milk in the mornings) My hair and nails are going so fast now, it’s actually unreal. So happy you posted about this brand because it’s seriously the best I’ve tried xox

  7. I just made this and loved it! I added turmeric for some extra anti-inflammatory benefits as well as chia/hemp seeds. I’ve been taking gelatin for quite a while now, and it’s really helped my nails get thicker – they don’t crack all the time like they used to. I usually just add it to my morning coffee – it melts right in, but figured adding another serving in the afternoon with this smoothie can’t hurt!

  8. I absolutely luvvv this idea! I’m so excited to try it! I’m also so glad you talked about collagen in a previous post, and the kinds you approve. I feel like I was just let in on a dirty, little, secret! Oh yeah, and a girl on a budget? That’s me?!

  9. Lauryn, i ordered this powder the moment i saw it on your Snapchat. It is fantastic! Doesn’t taste great to me on its own, but as long as i blend it with something – even just pineapple chunks if i’m in a hurry – it is perfection. Always love the smoothie/food recipes you post and of course the beautifying nature of this one is seriously appreciated!

    XO,

    Catherine

  10. When I stopped nursing my son my Chiro suggested putting some in with his coconut milk for some protein and to help with leaky gut! It has been a game changer for us! I have been using the Great Lakes brand found at my health food store but am looking forward to trying this one out 🙂
