Currently: lounging in bed ( Michael’s in Miami…so comp in bed! Shhhh. ) at 1:00 AM eating raw coconut ice cream ( casual ) while Pixy snores & Mr. T.Boone Pickens sticks his long nose in my bowl.
But not just any ice cream bowl.
My magic, favorite, skinny $8 bowl.
Honestly if you guys have followed TSC for a while then YOU KNOW HOW FANATICAL I AM when it comes to these bowls.
I’m so committed that I bring them on vacation.
For reals though.
I’m not a measurer…or a weigher…with my food. A lot of fitness bloggers will tell you to measure.
…meh.
Personally, I’d rather stare at a fly on the wall for 372616183 hours straight then measure my food everyday, so basically anything that involves measurements, BYE.
So my bowls. They’re just so cute & perfectly pre-portioned. And by the way, no one is paying me to say this— I just like the damn bowls ( obviously? ).
I’ve used these Anthropologie miso soup sized bowls FOR YEARSSSSSS. Impressively, they haven’t faded yet.
Things I eat in these bowls: raw ice cream, flaxseed chips, oatmeal, cereal, raw almonds, fruit, salads, soups, tuna fish…& everything else in the world.
In my opinion, if you’re looking to lose a few LB’s then portion control is EVERYTHING. I always tell my friends ( ya, I’m that annoying-ass friend ) “don’t eat out of the bag of chips!!! You will eat way more than you think!! Get a freaking bowl.”
Not a bowl that fits a small country, mini bowls:
Ultimately I’m totally perplexed why anyone would have any other bowl available in the kitchen. Kidding. Sorta.
These cuties just make life so much easier & way prettier. Really everyone should own a set.
Ok, Boone has ice cream all over his nose ( he’s so nosey…in every way) & is proceeding to wipe it on my whitest of white duvet. G2G!! xx. Lauryn
Oh my god, the cutest bowls ever! Number 1, 2 & 5 are so going to be added to my letter to Santa!
So true! When I started traveling through Asia I learned how the ladies in these cultures were so slim even though in America its known to avoid white rice, Asian culture thrives off white rice so when I came to this part of the world I was persuaded to eat what I never touched because of learning how to eat using portion control. If you ever eat at a real Sushi restaurant you are sure to see one small roll wrapped in rice with a side of miso soup and even more rice but the portion sizes are very small and culturally people share plus eating with chopsticks really makes it difficult to gorge. I now eat out of rice bowls and have found it easy to enjoy all of my favorite things without gaining an lb!
I LOVE number 3 so cute 🙂
Thank you for sharing xo C
OMG! I love, love, love these bowls! Yep you’re so right it’s all about portion control, which I need to work on asap! Think these bowls are the way forward for me!

Hope you like them!
These are goooorrggeeouuus! And yes! Serve a great purpose too! people think because I am 80 a week, I can eat whatever I want, but I still overdo my portion sizes. This would be very helpful!
Hope you like them! xx
I love those bowls! I’ve seen them in pics from your posts before and I’m a huge huge fan!! I definitely need to pick some up. Anthropologie has got it going on.
Thanks!

: ) thanks Alina!
I am OBSESSED with Anthro’s tableware. Like I just love it/want it all. Actually make that all of their home goods!
Need to check it out!
Oh my gosh! I usually avoid Anthropology because I know I’ll want EVERYthing and I’m weary of the prices, but at $8 a bowl – how could you not buy these! I’ve always had a good eye for portion control, but I prefer smaller bowls anyway. I want them all!!!
Yes $8 dollars is CRAZY!! Love them.
What happened to the no-device-in-bed decision? Just asking 😉
Lol that goal lasted long! But still, I gotta love her <3
NO NO NO!! Michael is in Miami!!! I am still being a good girl but without him I rebel & use the computer (MUAHAHAHAAH!)
Hahah!! You guys kill me!!! EEK! He is in Miami for work (I’ll be joining him tomorrow)…so I won’t tell him, if you don’t.
Super cute bowls! I’ve been looking for something like this…small with design. Love them!
You will LOVE these!
These don’t necessarily serve the portion control purpose, but I have a set of bowls from Suite One Studio and they are my favorite things ever. Pricey, but they are my best damn bowls. So freakin’ cute, and I love supporting artisans. 🙂 http://suiteonestudio.com/collections/all/bowl
Love it! I will check them out! x
So fricken cute! Obsessed <3
Thanks babe!
These bowls are so adorable! I bet they making eating that much more enjoyable!

They SO do!
Love it. It’s way more fun to eat out of pretty things anyway.
But if I click on a link to Anthropologie, I’m bound to buy everything. Their stuff is way too cute.
Hi Lauryn, I totally agree with you about measuring and weighing food. I do NOT own a food scale and never will. I use the same types of containers for my snacks and meals so I know about the size of what I should be eating. These are a lot cuter than what I use though. Happy Thursday! 🙂
I like these bowls you posted and now I’m thinking about ordering some! Love this post and yesterday’s post about the nip covers. I didn’t know about that product but I’m so glad I do now! Love your blog 🙂
I actually bought mine in tj maxx, marshalls, and home goods. They even come with lids so you can store it in the fridge ! Prices vary from $3 to $12. There amazing !!
The bowls look fantastic! I love the pattern ♥
Adorable bowls! Love that each one is different!
Those bowls are adorable! I have some that are similar from Target that I use for the same purpose. Glad to know I’m not alone!
Absolutely ADORABLE! Love these!
AH! These are so cute. I love the patterns!
I know, aren’t they fun? xx
For anyone on a budget, I’ve seen bowls that look almost identical to these at Ross, Marshall’s, and TJ Maxx for super cheap. 🙂
