When I was little I was obsesseddddd with orange soda…but who wasn’t?
There was something about the fizzy drink that was so alluring because my parents never kept it in the house.
So naturally, the second I went to a friend’s house I’d immediately ask for an orange soda. Total rebel, right? Little did I know, orange soda has like six million nasty ingredients, including Red 40.
In honor of my orange soda obsession, I decided to create a healthier version for my 10-year-old self:
TSC Fizzy Orange Soda:
Directions: mix ingredients ( I like to shake them up in a martini shaker first, without the sparkling water ), top with bubbly water, & serve over ice.
This drink has turned into a total favorite. I’ve had to get really, really creative with my diet because of my recent double jaw surgery, so any added flair to my drink choices helps. Since the surgery, I’ve incorporated probiotics EVERYWHERE to support my immune system. I discovered Zicam’s Total Immune Crystals ( they have pre AND probiotics! ) so I added it to help feel better faster.
Plus it’s orange & so Halloween-ish.
Anyway, how good does this skinny version of orange soda sound with a slice of pizza? Heaven.
And with no Red 40? YES.
