Honestly, if you’re not diffusing oil somewhere in your house right now, we need to get you into it, stat.
Essential oils are basically concentrated plant extracts. And we all know there are plenty of plants out there that have amazing medicinal properties. So, when you diffuse these plant oils and allow your body to absorb them, you’re literally soaking up all these beneficial properties in the most efficient way possible.
In fact, diffused oils are literally like the water in the air. So they’re one of the only things that can be absorbed by ALL your cells. In the simplest terms, essential oils are like medicine, but quicker, cleaner, and healthier. We’ll take it.
Plus, they usually smell amazing. So what’s not to love?
And these medicinal properties we mentioned are like seriously magical. This goes for the mind, the body, the spirit – everything.
There are thousands of different essential oils out there that can help remedy all sorts of mental and physical ailments. And while we would love to talk about each and every one and all the amazing benefits they can provide…that would take way too long.

Let’s start with Lauryn’s absolute fav essential oil: tangerine. This one has literally so many benefits. Tangerine is great for making your bedroom smell nice, citrusy, and clean. And it’s also a digestive aid, an antiseptic, and an immune booster.
It’s the best for the bedroom because it helps with insomnia and memory support. Most importantly, it aids in cell regeneration and purifies the blood. You mean we can be reaping all these benefits while sleeping? YES.
Lavender is all about getting much needed beauty rest. This essential oil is known to help prevent a variety of sleep disturbances and promotes more restful sleep. Lavender is also great for reducing that anxiety and stress that builds up throughout the day. Feel free to mix lavender and orange, tangerine, or lemongrass for a really nice nighttime aroma.
Sandalwood is one of those essential oils that literally does everything. When applied straight to the skin, it can help clear away eczema, psoriasis, and acne. It can also help reduce the look of scarring and wrinkles.
