One of the first times I met Tenley she was carrying gummy bears in her purse. I was drinking champagne with a splash of Pom juice & she kindly offered me some for my cocktail. She sprinkled some tiny bears in my bubbly…it was oddly delicious! She is truly, as sweet as pie.

Not only is Tenley been on The Bachelor series [ Jake’s season ] & Bachelor Pad, she also lives a healthy, “skinny” lifestyle. She is gluten-free [ you can find some of her fab recipes here ], a hot yoga lover, & a television host. Naturally, she is the perfect Skinnista of the Month:

+ What is your quick skinny trick?

The 7 Day Slim Down, sometimes it’s actually a 3 Day Slim Down if I need a real quick “skinny trick”.

Another trick is a good cleanse. The one thing I never want to do is “starve” myself, both of my “skinny tricks” are built around clean nutrition still giving me the right calories, fats, carbs that I need to function on!

+ What is your weekly workout schedule?

I try to do something active every single day of the week, I feel my best when I’m moving! On the weekdays I like to alternate hot yoga & running or do both. On days that I just run, I run about six miles plus [ I’m always setting new goals depending on the time I have to commit to a run that day ]. On just hot yoga days I try to throw in a circuit workout, even if it’s a DVD in my living room! On yoga/running days I only do a three-four mile run; I never want to over exhaust myself or I end up out of commission for a few days. Yoga & running are my favorite workouts, obviously. However, I try to throw in a dance class, a barre class, or something a little different so I do not plateau. On the weekends, I’ll either do one of my regular workouts but often find myself enjoying a super long walk or a hike with my boyfriend!

+ Best go-to healthy food?

How do I pick?! I have lots of favorites! Egg white scrambles, protein pancakes, grilled veggies, big green salads, fresh fruit, anything w/ almond butter [ especially on celery or apples ], & Greek yogurt [ I use it in EVERYTHING! ].

+ Motivation to stay in shape?

Staying in shape is important for my confidence. I feel better from the inside out, & I feel like I can confidently be ME knowing that I am doing my best taking care of my body. Living a healthy lifestyle & working out is much easier than “letting myself go” and complaining about how I feel physically and emotionally, so I keep myself moving! I also feel great being active. Working out helps me clear my mind & let go of some of the stress in life; my workout time is MY time.

+ Favorite beauty product?

My favorite beauty product is Loreal Voluminous Mascara!

+ Best natural beauty remedy?

Washing my face every night! AND hot yoga & hot baths w/ Epsom salts. Sweating & releasing toxins keeps me feeling great inside & out!

+Tenley’s Super Easy Portobello Mushroom Pizza:

1.] Grab a few portabello mushrooms, big or medium size, wash them, & remove the stem and the “gills”

2.] Use some pizza sauce, pasta sauce, or tomato sauce [ make sure it’s gluten free if you’re gluten-free like me ], and spread sauce inside the mushroom.

3.] Sprinkle lightly with reduced-fat cheese & add any other ingredients you love on your pizza! Don’t be afraid to be creative! I only had spinach, cheese, & sauce in my house when I made these, but I can’t wait to add more toppings!

4.] Bake at 350 degrees for ten to fifteen minutes. Enjoy!
