My Thanksgiving was filled with games of pool, bubbly wines, lots of food [ I definitely still tried to use portion control ], my beautiful family [ dogs too! ] & ended with a tryptophan coma. Per usual Michael and I attended both of our families Thanksgiving dinners, which was hectic but amazing. Here are some ways to utilize leftovers in a health conscious way.

Skinny Thanksgiving Leftovers Ideas:

+ Turkey Tacos: Use strips of turkey and place in a whole wheat tortilla. Add low-fat cheese, lettuce & tomatoes.

+ Cranberry Flaxseed Granola: Take granola [ I prefer Ezekiel cereal ] add cranberry sauce & flaxseed.

+ Green Bean Quinoa Pasta: Add green beans [ or any leftover veg ] to quinoa pasta. Sprinkle chili flakes & parmesan cheese.

+ Veggie Soup: Heat all veggies stove top and add a low-sodium chicken stock. Add a squeeze of lemon on top.

+ Pumpkin Pie Fruit Bowl: Stir in two scoops of pumpkin pie filling to a bowl of mixed berries. It’s delicious!

  1. You look so purty in that orange dress! It’s so fresh and different~ 🙂 And those are great leftover ideas! I’ve been using turkey in wraps, and also….wait for it….in pad thai!! Homemade pad thai is so delicious (and healthy to boot) 😀 Have a lovely weekend

    1. Yes! He has definitely has his own style! He loves vintage finds & is very creative. I help him too : ) xo

  2. I am obsessed with the scones on this post, they are so yummy, healthy and such a treat after a workout on the tennis court exercise and a healthy dinner of brussels sprouts plus Organic green Salad. The perfect, I mean perfect sweet treat satisfaction at a meals end. This saves me from the mistakes of ice cream, yogurt or something else that has sugar in it!! They are that good and one of a kind!!
