The Supermodel Green Elixir You Need To Be Drinking



Well, not shocking because a morning routine sets the tone of the whole day.

Trust me when I say this, I’ve experienced a couple of shit mornings & I’m telling you a casual, calm morning makes all the difference.

( This morning was a tad hectic, eating slightly stale steel cut oats & scrambled eggs in the car with two different socks on, holding a conference call in traffic……..but we made it work ).

Anyway. Tomorrow will be golden because for the last couple months I’ve been drinking this green elixir powder. I discovered it through Elle Macpherson’s Instagram. You know, the supermodel mogul. She developed this product over the years with a doctor.

Hold up though. I want to note I AM A BIG BEVERAGE DRINKER. LIKE 2303958 BEVVIES AT ONCE. A lot going on with the liquids. A little TSC Pink Detox Drink, a spot of peppermint tea, a little cold brew, AND some type of green concoction. Hydration is the first priority of my day, every day. In fact, if I’m not keeping my hydration in line the SECOND I wake up, I’m grumpy & rude.

The other day at a blogger conference a friend told me that a very qualified sleep specialist said the first thing you should do when you wake up is drink water.

Couldn’t agree more.

In my case, it’s water immediately and then some, but you get the gist.

I highly recommend waking up & immediately first thing drinking a HUGE cup of water. Here’s why: “one of the best things you can do after you wake up: drink at least 16oz ( 500mL ) of water. Water fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins, gives your brain fuel, & may even make you eat less.” ( AND READ THIS ).

We kind of got off topic, let’s get back to the green elixir.

Ideally, I would love a hefty, fresh green drink with a dinner of fresh wild salmon & leafy kale but we can’t always get what we want. With travel, podcasting in LA, & an office to run, shit gets crazy. So sometimes I need to find an effective way to get some greens in.

Enter: The Super Elixir.

First off, this isn’t sponsored. I really, really love these greens & wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t because it’s something to ingest daily. This is what’s worked for me.

If you follow TSC on Snapchat & Instagram you know I did an IV vitamin cocktail today ( SO MUCH TO SHARE ON THIS TOPIC THAT I’M BURSTING WITH EXCITEMENT ), so I definitely believe there’s many different, pecuilar ways to get vitamins. HOWEVER, if you’re a busy bee, try these greens for a quick fix.

ANDDDD it’s formulated to be absorbed by your body at a cellular level, optimising the function of all 11 of your body’s systems: the digestive, endocrine ( hormonal ), integumentary ( hair, skin, & nails ), circulatory, & nervous systems, to name a few.

Oh ya, it’s vegan & dairy/gluten/preservative FREE.

Let’s also just note that the black caddy is chic on my kitchen counter & you just buy refills so you don’t have to keep buying the container. During the holidays they had it in white too, which was festive. Loving the black though because it’s sturdy & almost like a glass-ish Tupperware container.

You’re going to tell me it’s pricey…….& yes, agreed. HOWEVER I’ve tried A LOT of green powders & this is the one I like. This is the one MY body responds to. This is the one that tastes right. This is the one with my favorite ingredients. So it’s worth it to me.

If you’re looking for something less expensive, I encourage you to do your own research. Especially if you want a quick-ass way to get some green nutrients in your daily routine.

Tomorrow on Snapchat, I’ll show you guys exactly how I prepare this but honestly it’s so simple: put a bunch of ice into a cup ( don’t heat it, cold is best ), add the greens, pour water on top, & stir with a straw ( silicone, of course ). I gulp it down in like four gulps & get on with my day.

An Ideal Morning Involves:

  1. My ideal morning involves coffee w collagen and a banana, followed by Crossfit and then protein pancakes followed by some morning meditation, visualization and reading (holla to My Morning Miracle book!). Lastly prenatal vitamins (no not prego), fish oil, and probiotic! Totally sounds lame when I type it all out but these are my favorite ways to start the day!!! Might have to implement your green drink!

  3. I have been so intrigued by this line for so long so I am so glad you made a post on it. I love that it focuses on alkalizing. Also love that they have a travel kit which is VERY affordable so you can always have it on the go (I’m that girl who brings mini jars of coconut oil & collagen to throw in my coffee on vacay lol…) Have you tried the nourishing protein one, as well?   4. I totally agree on the morning routine. It’s so key to wake up intentionally, slowly and ease into the day! I have some greens just before I workout and it makes all the difference in my energy. It allows me to not have coffee which I LOVE.

The ingredients in here are virtually identical to Amazing Grass greens powder – except that Amazing Grass doesn’t contain super shady “natural flavors.” Also, 30 servings of Amazing Grass is about $30 vs $130. I’m curious – what specifically about this supermodel elixir do you think makes it better than any other greens powder and justifies the cost? I know you said your body “loves it,” but are there any concrete facts you can provide for your support?

  6. I’ve tried two different green drinks for morning/night – “Amazing Grass” and “Green Phactor”. Both have amazing benefits, I just haven’t really loved the taste of either, so I think I’ll try this one next! Xx

  8. I am OBSESSED with this powder! I add it to my green smoothie everyday (with spinach, banana & almond milk) and it tastes sooo good. I also use the nourishing chocolate protein. They are very pricey BUT they’re by far the best powders I’ve ever tried (for taste & results). xx
