Starbucks is so helpful when I am in a pinch & need a quick bite to eat. I am on a first name basis with the cashier because of my iced coffee with an inch of soy, no sweetener [ add cinnamon & nutmeg ] habit. If I need a snack too, I grab the all-natural RAW bar with no refined sugars — I eat half one day & the other half the next day [ here is another Starbucks snack ]. For a meal, their spinach feta wrap [ egg whites, feta cheese, spinach, & tomato wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla ] is perfect after a hard workout because it contains lots of protein, vitamins & the right amount of carbs.
Quick skinny tip: avoid sweeteners like Equal & Splenda [ they cause bloat ] like the plague; raw sugar packets are better than those evil chemicals.
* Drinking coffee [ hot or cold ] out of a straw, to preserve the whiteness of the teeth, is well worth it!
