This morning I woke up with a skip in my step. You know one of those days when everything goes smoothly? I allowed myself to sleep-in [ sort-of ], was on time for once to Pilates, & the weather could not have been prettier. And now this delicious juice is fully energizing me. Surprising, the puckering sweet & sour flavor tastes exactly like fresh-squeezed lemonade.
Saint Patrick’s Day is around the corner, so I figured this green drink is entirely holiday-appropriate. It’s four simple ingredients- & when it’s juiced together, you’re guaranteed to fall in love. This Saturday you may or may not find me pouring vodka into this.
[ Recipe adapted from Juicer’s ]
** Serves one
2 handfuls of kale
3 juiced lemons [ my preference: Meyer lemons ]
3 handfuls of romaine lettuce
3 red apples [ my preference: Gala apples ]
Combine all ingredients in a juicer and mix. A blender will work too, just not as well as a juicer. Sixteen ounces is the perfect amount for a post-workout snack. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
Trying this.
Just about to navigate your page now and find out the best juicer and juice plan to follow.
Thanks!
I like the Ninja; I am sure there’s a lot of juicer options though!
love this juice combo! I really need to upgrade my juicer 🙂 as I have been doing very simple juices and I want to do more with greens again!
