OK. So if you follow along on Snapchat you know I have this weird, WEIRD obsession with sexing up water.
There’s nothing I love more than waking up & making a huge mason jar of TSC Pink Detox Drink in the morning. AND there’s also nothing I love more than spa water.
Any way to mix up water works for me. I’m known to really try anything.
& lately it’s been ALL about the spicy water.
CORRECT, I’m now adding jalapeño to my water on the regular. Since I’ve been going to the office a lot more, I have to come prepared. Imagine this: a cute water bottle ( pictured ) full of jalapeño & pomegranate seeds ( ANTIOXIDANTS! ) & a pretty teal lunchbox. This is real life. Every time I go to the office.
Again, I’m pretty specific about my water bottles. They have to be BPA-free. Bobble sent me this one & I’m mildly obsessed because 1.) it fits perfectly in my briefcase; 2.) it matches well with my lunchbox ( true life ); & 3.) it’s chic.
Anyway, every morning I mix the office water up. Sometimes I add mint. Sometimes a little cayenne. Lemon always. & sometimes even a couple of cucumber slices.
BUT here’s the recipe for my favorite spicy spa water that I cannot get enough of, really:
TSC Spicy, Sexy Spa Water:
1/2 jalapeño, sliced
1/2 lemon, squeezed
1/2 handful of pomegranate seeds ( 3-4 tbsp )
A pinch of turmeric powder
+ Directions: grab your BPA-free water bottle & fill it with ice & water. Add lemon, sliced jalapeño, & pomegranate seeds. Finish it off with turmeric powder to taste. You should know that jalapeño can be very spicy to a lot of people! I find them mild on the spicy side so sometimes I even add a FULL jalapeño. Maybe start with 1/4 and see how you do? After everything’s added, I shake up the bottle & throw it in my briefcase. Ta-da, a fun, easy way to get some water in. If you’re in a hurry in the morning, make this the night before. EASY!
I like that the bobble ‘Insulate’ water bottle fits in a cup holder & it can be found at Nordstrom. I have it in stark white which is just the best accessory ever. For spa water, I prefer the clear bobble ‘Infuse’ because you can see the delicious ingredients & there’s something oddly satisfying about seeing the pomegranate seeds floating up & down when you shake the bottle. It also has a little filter at the top so nasty stuff doesn’t get in the water.
The white bobble ‘Insulate’ is more for super freezing cold water, iced kombucha… & white wine. Yah, sue me. A little pinot grigio in an insulated bottle is kind of fun if you’re walking with your girlfriends to happy hour OR hanging out at the beach. This one keeps it cold – just how I like it. See:
If you’re looking for more fun water addition, I got you covered. Some fresh ideas: rosemary, basil, lime, watermelon chunks, grapefruit, kiwi slices, chia seeds, a splash of kombucha &/or your favorite juice, apple slices, flower petal ice cubes, blueberry / lemon ice cubes, cayenne powder, &/or a splash of coconut water.
You can do anything really. Water is a basic bitch sometimes so the more you can mix it up, the better.
How do you like to add some flair to your water?!
CHEERS!

+ this post is in collaboration with bobble, as always ALL options are my own.

It’s one of my current favorites Esther! Let me know what you think!! xx
I love my clear Bobble bottle as well! I love that it filters the water for you so you literally can fill that bitch up anywhere you are at!!! I used to travel to many different locations as a Brand Trainer, and this water bottle was a true life saver when it came to staying hydrated ( I mean doesn’t every Nordies have a drinking fountain?)… I love to add chia seeds to my water. I prefe to let them pre-soak so they get that good Jelly texture to them. A few Tbl spoons of those super power yummies, mint, cucumber, and lemon. It’s from The Flat Belly Diet (I added the Chia as a twist)! Super good for you on the inside so you stay looking great on the outside! Xoxo
YES!! Adding chia seeds to your water is a GREAT idea Jules! Love that it gets you extra hydrated!! xx
Have a lot of bloggers been getting sponsored by this water bottle brand? I have seen over 10 posts from all my favorite bloggers on the same water bottle lol. Just curious!
I would love to try out the jalapeño water! sounds sexy!
xoxo
Sexy and oh so good for you Sarah!! I’m a fan because they are so convenient and chic : ) xx
YUM! i’ve been on a major spicy margarita kick (actually inspired by a post of yours from a ways back)….my bod could probably use more water & less tequila so I’m thinking this has to happen! thanks for sharing.
Spicy margs are the BEST but this spicy water is a delicious way to stay hydrated!! xx
I’ve never tried infusing my water with jalapenos before but the idea seems very intriguing to me so I’m definitely going to try that out! I really like those Bobble bottles by the way.
Definitely give it a shot Spencer and let me know how you like it!! It really enhances your water and makes staying hydrated SO delicious : ) xx
Big fan of the idea of a less basic bitch water. Figuring out how to carry fresh ingredients around with me is the next mission! Thanks for the ideas- as always!
