What a whirlwind this year has been.
If I could sum up 2016 in one word: it would be EXTREME. There were extreme highs, extreme lows, extreme schedules, & extreme goals. I really felt the the pressure, in a good way, in 2016.
2016 has been good to The Skinny Confidential.
BECAUSE OF YOU.
This community has grown & that makes me proud to work every day towards the bigger picture. I really can’t thank you guys enough for being a part of it all. As always, your support means everything.
That being said, here are some of the major themes & most memorable moments from 2016. Shall we?
First off: The Skinny Confidential cell phone cases !! I never leave home without one ( currently wearing THE FUN BAGS in bubblegum pink ). Do you guys like? Launching this project was a 2016 FAV!
With that here’s some other 2016 highlights:
We got very REAL this year.
One of my favorite things about this community is how you guys LOVE controversial topics. I know sometimes it can get intense, but that’s what keeps things interesting right?
Some of my favorites:
+ Botox
+ Jealousy

Michael & I started podcasting together in 2016!
It’s been a wild ride & a major learning experience. Podcasting was a totally new medium & we certainly had some bumps in the road, but overall both Michael & I LOVE podcasting.
Some of our favorite episodes:
In 2017 we’ll continue to bring you guys weekly episodes for free. You can subscribe to TSC HIM & HER PODCAST HERE.
In 2016 I decided to try everything & anything related to wellness & took you guys along to see the benefits.
Through TSC Bombshell Body Guide, I was able to share healthy recipes, workouts, & even the 7 DAY MEAL PLAN.
On the blog there was a lot of alternative medicine & new wellness trends. SNAPCHAT has been fun too because it’s like a live reality show.
Wellness was a major theme this year, and that will continue in 2017. Any new wellness trends you want to try?
Would love to add to my list! Here’s what we got into this year:
+ Cupping
+ Yoga
+ Shredding For The Wedding Meal Plan
More wellness posts HERE.
In 2016 Michael & I were definitely on the go, to say the least. Like I said Snapchat has become my platform of choice, because I can take you guys along. In 2017 you can expect more travel…& more making fun of Michael on Snap ( LOL ).
One of my favorite 2016 memories was traveling to New York City to be a guest on THE ASK GARY VEE SHOW. He’s someone I look up to so much. Honestly though to be a guest influencer on his show was SUCH AN HOUR. WATCH the show here.
Some of our favorite journeys:
+ Provence
+ Cabo
+ Florence
+ Venice
+ Miami

In 2016 Michael started voicing his opinions on The Skinny Confidential.
He covered everything from books, to business, to relationship advice.
Here are my picks:
+ Thank You For Making Excuses
+ Failure

One of the biggest highs of 2016 was FINALLY getting married ! FINALLY.
Thank you for all of your tips, advice, help, & support along the way.
Still a few more wedding posts to go, I promise they will be up in January 2017 so stay tuned.
Lastly one of the hardest things about 2016 was losing my best friend & grandma, The Nanz.
I miss her every day.
Thank you to each and every one of you for being so kind to her. She loved sharing her advice & personality with all of you.
2016 was her last year here and you guys really helped make it a great year for her. I will continue to share posts in 2017 of her advice & recipes.
Below are some of the special moments with The Nanz.

SO 2016 was a wild ride. Now it’s time to look forward. Have any New Year plans or resolutions? What are your NYE plans? Send us a SNAP! Michael & I will be taking it easy on NYE.
BTW: in 2017 there are a few new exciting things happening! TSC Bombshell Body Guide is launching something NEW. I don’t want to give it away yet, but here’s a hint: IT WILL HELP FIGHT BLOAT BIG TIME.
Also, something with product ; )…
I hope you’re ready to kick ass in the New Year & make it WHATEVER you want it to be.
