Ummm. You know when you see something you have to have, can’t live without, or you might die a slow death?
That’s kinda the moment I had with these boots when I saw them on my best friend, Erica’s blog.
They’re one of those items that just scream fall. Plus they’re super versatile & oh-so-Fing-chic:
Right?!
And let me quickly clarify: if I’m spending $1,700 on boots they better be covered in diamonds, massage my back, & have tons health benefits…
I’m a total poor girl when it comes to shoes.
Honestly though. I’m just not a shoe girl…I’m more of a handbag-whore…but anyway, back to the shoes.
The ‘Poor Girl’ find def got me goin’…they’re just too amaze.
I mean, technically they look EXACTLY like the Givenchy Sheath Wedge Boots.
Right?!
Ok so, back to biz: once a month Erica ( << my partner with Blog-Doo ) & I will be featuring the hot find/trend of the month.
Because who wants to spend a million dollars a trend?

P.S. more ‘Rich Girl / Poor Girl’ posts found here. x.

I am a poor girl too when it come to 1700 on boots and absolutely love those boots!! Where did you find the ones for 175?? because those are way more in my price range haha 🙂 Love your blog too by the way 🙂
totally just found the link for them haha 😉
I think u should do a “poor momma” one! ..cause girl, even $175 is too much for me to be spending! ;(
Those boots look lovely! The black colour means they go with everything! And I agree, I’m totally a handbag whore!

I completely agree. I’m not huge into spending a thousand dollars on boots when I can find the same design for a quarter of the price! I’m love those babes up there though, so chic and tons of outfit ideas are coming to mind. Gorgeous.
Stay lovely,

LOVE posts like this because I dO NOT like to spend a lot of $ on fashion! I spend a lot of $ on food! ha ha!
Hi, I found your blog last week and I read all the posts in four days. I love it. I love the way you eat and you live. I always try to eat healthy too, and love fashion.
I am a total fashion junkie and love to be on trend but will always buy the poor girl version, unless of course its a classic item like my nude loubs 🙂 love + shine Courtstar
I just about DIED over obsessing on these boots when I saw them on Erica’s blog. I totally blame her for me buying them too…jaja. They are to die for. I have been wearing them for about two weeks now and have tons of compliments. I covet things, but don’t have time for looking for the poor girl version of anything so it would be REALLY awesome if you guys did the Rich Girl/Poor Girl on, well, a lot of things 😉
LOVE IT. Thanks girlies. Can’t wait for the interview!
That’s actually not a bad substitute! Good Job! Still don’t know if that’s a better spring or autumn shoe.

OMG! Lauryn, you’re killing me! I absolutely love your blog and find myself constantly laughing while reading your posts! I was about to write “You should definitely write a book” and then realized that you ARE working on it! I honestly can’t wait to read it! (sorry, for numerous exclamation marks, but I totally dig your writing style, you should definitely come to Montreal sometime! OKAY, OKAY… you should come to Montreal when it’s warmer!) xoxo
Love this! I’m definitely looking forward to more of these posts, since I’m always coveting styles that my bank account can’t handle!
LOVE it! Thanks chick! xoxoxo
Very nice boots seen them on other major websites being sold!
I can totally relate! There are a lot of amazing shoes out there that are 50-70% less than those that are in trend. It’s wiser to be practical since most trends nowadays don’t even last that long compared to the trends years back.
Those boots are so flattering! Thinking I need a knee-high boot this time of the year. It’s so hard to find a good one.

Howdy,
Extremely go through this article. I have never seen such beautiful article before anywhere excluding THESKINNYCONFIDENTIAL Webcast. I particularly agree with your points about Rich Girl Poor Girl Skinny Confidential Fashionlush. Will be sharing this with my tribe too.
