Today on The Skinny Confidential YouTube channel we’re talking about 3 winter favorites for dehydrated, dry skin.
Listen, we’ve all been there when the winter season hits & your skin feels like a dried up old prune. There’s nothing worse than having damp, dewy, pretty, youthful skin for the summer time, then getting to winter & being completely dried out.
So today I’m talking about 3 game-changing products that I use to keep my skin plump & dewy. Rest assured, I’ve tried these for the last 6 months- they’re ones that you’re going to want on your vanity & they’re ones that your BF will probably end up stealing.
We’re going to discuss a MAJOR cleansing balm, an iconic serum, & an oil that you’ll want to pour all over your body.
These 3 standouts have been my go-tos, especially when the skin is dry AF.
That’s that, let’s get straight into the video:
The Skinny Confidential 3 winter saviors for your skin:
♡ Elemis Rose Cleansing Balm
This is like a lip balm for your face without the stickiness & removes your makeup with one swipe.
♡ Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum
This is pricey, but honestly you guys, after using it for the last 6 months every single day, I HIGHLY recommend this & know that it’s worth every penny. It’s like liquid gold.
♡ Biossance Squalane Oil
This oil is amazing & so versatile. You can use it all over your arms, elbows, cracked knuckles, hands & even your hair.
+ optional: dry brush
If you don’t know about the benefits of dry brushing, you have to check out this post.
I would love to know what you guys are using to stay juicy & wet ( LOL ) for winter. Tell me what I need to pour all over my body to be a glowing goddess.

Alright, I’m off to do my winter skincare routine while I watch Teresa & Melissa get into it on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. I’ll also be enjoying my farmer’s market vanilla kefir that I just got. If you guys haven’t tried vanilla kefir yet, you HAVE to. It’s sweetened with vanilla beans & it’s so good.
See you tomorrow!

OK so I saw this post and I was like YES because my skin has been a bitch this winter. But the hubs would probably kill me if I spent this much all at once on skin care. I have been rocking a skinny fav Jojoba oil recently and its helped A LOT. Its cheap AF (I get the Trader Joe’s brand) and removes make up too. Lauryn is always talking about it. I’m saving up for the Vintner’s Daughters serum though.
Hi Lauryn. Great tips for dry skin! I also have a problem such a severe dry skin during winter. I’ll follow your tips. However, I love to wear makeup but so I find some makeup product for dry skin such BB Cream from here https://www.womenangle.com/best-bb-cream-for-dry-skin/. I think it’s really good. Have you ever try some of them? Please share. Thanks for your sharing.
Dry brushing is amazing for my dry skin. It leaves my arms super smooth and gets rid of all those annoying keratosis pilaris bumps instantly.

Biggest dry skin game-changer: use a diffuser with just water as a pretty bedside humidifier!!
I always suffer from dry skin. Thank you for the tips.
