DIRT CUPS.
If they didn’t define your childhood, you sort of missed out.
Kidding.
But they’re seriously insane.
My childhood was filled with dirt cups from Tony Roma’s. Too bad the restaurant I got a dirt cup from, served them in a FREAKING PLANTED POT. Genius, right?
If you’re a mom planning on making these, check out these empty potted planters for a fun twist.
Ok, let’s get down to biz:
These are the perfect Halloween dessert…especially if you have kids.
To be honest, I fell in love with this dessert too because it’s like a vegan pudding with a crunchy light surface AND UHHHHHH gummy butterflies/worms?? I’m SO in.
If I was under 7, I would make this dessert mandatory.
Basically my bright, new & different idea was to add BROWNIE BRITTLE.
If you don’t know what brownie brittle is…you have not lived.
Basically it’s the dry, crunchy part ( the best part ) of the brownie in a chip-like form. It’s so bad it’s good:
I’m very much into this pudding recipe with avocado— it’s vegan & very easy to make!
Ok so, here’s the recipe:
The Skinny Confidential OMG Dirt Cups:
As much as you want of vegan chocolate pudding
A sprinkle of crushed Brownie Brittle
Some gummy worms
Some gummy butterflies
Fake plastic spiders
+ Directions: add chocolate pudding to a glass ( I used a martini glass to be fun! ). Add crushed up ( crush it up yourself ) Brownie Brittle on top of the pudding. Add gummy worms, gummy butterflies, & fake plastic spiders. Serve with a chilled spoon. Serve in planter pots to be extra cute.
You can add SO many creepy crawlers here— get creative! Plastic spiders, gummy-whatever, maybe some sprinkles. You could even do white chocolate pudding with crunched caramel salted brownie brittle & neon gummy worms— have fun with it ; ).
The more festive the better!
Regardless, BROWNIE BRITTLE WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD IN GENERAL.
Happy Halloween guys! x, lauryn

Hi Lauryn, first I love your blog and post on “Dirt”. Just wanted to let you know that the chocolate pudding is made with skim milk. I am a vegan and was going to order it until I checked ingredients.
Still looks yummy and I will make it with a chocolate cashew milk pudding.
I love all of these throwback recipes you’ve done! I am OBSESSED with brownie brittle…to addicting. Love it <3!
You’ve done it again Lauryn, Love the dirt Cup! Keep em coming.
Thanks, Malaika@loftandlearn
