NYE NON SEQUIN VIBES

Between the wedding, starting the podcast & getting ready to launch some fun new products for you guys 2016 flew by! Which brings me to NYE.

If you follow along on Snapchat ( un: laurynevarts ) you know I LOVE retirement vibes. It’s safe to say I’m over the crowded club, the sequins everywhere & the high expectations. New Year, New You. YAWN. You can change whenever you want to change. Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one!

Anyway, I plan on keeping it pretty mellow this year by spending time with my HUSBAND (!), Pixy & Boone. Think Bossanova, oysters & some chilled champagne.  Just because I plan to take it easy doesn’t mean I won’t get dressed up. It’s always fun to play a little dress up & have some fun. But I am OVER sequins. Let’s avoid that please? Thank you.

You can find most girls in sequins, glitter or some sort of all black look for NYE. I LOVE contrast which is why I can’t wait to rock this bright pink dress. You will make a statement against all the glitter & black. Plus the deep v really showcases the girls in the most flattering way.

I love playing with texture & this gold and leather wrap choker is just that. It’s perfect for layering and wearing with a plunging neckline.

To be real, I’d rather not do my makeup without this CC Cream honestly. It’s that good.

Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath created this insane metallic pigment kit. It’s perfect for brightening your lids, creating gilded lip looks, and adding some shine to your shoulders. I’m going to try rocking the silver metallic lip this NYE.

A bodysuit is one of my favorite ways to get dressed. They’re easy and so chic. I’m DYING over this silver metallic bodysuit. Rock a high pony to show off the open back.

A clean manicure is a must. When I was in London EVERYONE was rocking this dark green nail polish. It’s moody in all the right ways.

I’m over stacking multiple dainty rings & bracelets. This gold hand chain makes it easy to have both in one. Plus I don’t need to worry about losing all of those rings. LOL.

I’m having a MAJOR velvet moment right now. From shoes to jackets, if it’s velvet I want it. This pair of vampy red booties with a glitter heel are already in my closet.

I know we’re talking about NYE but can you believe Christmas is just a week away? Hopefully you haven’t been procrastinating on your holiday shopping.
