Mini DeLites: Texas Recap

Hey guys! What’s up?

Wanted to give you all a quick update of my Palm Breeze tour. It’s been super fun traveling with them because no one loves skinny cocktails & blowouts as much as me, right?

Basically, I hosted four events with Palm Breeze around the country which gave me the ability to meet a bunch of YOU. It’s so fun to connect with other bloggers & TSC readers. Literally every one of you was awesome. Seriously each girl I met was sweet, beautiful, & amazing!!

It was fun to connect over delicious sparkling pineapple drinks while we got blowouts too. I feel like it’s so casual 50’s chic, ya know? Kinda like a Palm Breeze vacay everyday!

If you follow me on Snapchat you kind of already saw the full adventure but hopefully these pictures give a more in-depth, behind the scenes look.

The Palm Breeze events began with TSC Playlists blasting, healthy appetizers ( think sushi & coconut macaroons ), & BLOWOUTS. Getting a blowout is the most therapeutic thing ever, in my opinion. Like you sit there ( I always have my computer handy ) with the best WiFi while you get beautified & you don’t have to lift a finger…heaven? COMBINE THAT WITH PALM BREEZE COCKTAILS & LIFE IS MADE.

You guys can read about my D.C. Palm Breeze experience here. And here’s a little Dallas & Austin recap too: Michael & I got so many amazing recommendations from you guys! We stayed at The Joule in Dallas ( super cute, boutique-y hotel ) & The Four Season in Austin ( they seriously have like wildlife on the property, I felt like Ace Ventura for the majority of the stay ). For restaurants we checked out the bar underneath The Joule ( loved! ), Truluck’s, Rainey Street ( it’s like this street with a bunch of craft bars ), Parkside, & Caffé Medici ( awesome cold brew coffee! ). Michael also literally made me walk all over Texas for BBQ. We ended up at this place called Le Barbecue, primarily based off your recommendations via Instagram. I LOVE THE RECOMMENDATIONS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA! It really takes the whole “I’m a tourist & have no F-ing clue what I’m doing” thing out of the equation. I used TSC Bombshell Body Guide the whole time I traveled & ate a lot of medium rare burgers wrapped in lettuce with extra, extra jalapeños ( hey it’s Texas, gotta enjoy the meat, right?! ).

Any recommendations for next time we’re in Texas?

& hopefully I’ll be hosting more events with Palm Breeze soon so I can visit you guys in other cities!! Stay tuned…

  1. Congrats, Lauryn. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed meeting a bunch of the people who help make TSC what it is. You’ve worked hard, you deserve it 🙂 Question though, what’s the travel schedule like? From Instagram it looks like it’s been pretty hectic!

  2. Congrats!! Super cool that you are into connecting with your readers. It makes you that much more authentic 🙂 Your hair is seriously the bomb too. So jealous!!

  3. Was sooo great meeting you in Atx! What a fun event and also a feat of magic because that blowout literally brought my hair back to life that day. You already have my recommendations so come back soon!

  4. My favorite of the Mini Delites because they are from my home state! I am actually from Dallas, but have not lived there in years, but some of my recommendations that are still around include: BlueFish or Steele for sushi, Mi Cocina for the BEST TexMex and Mambo Taxis (google these!), Northpark mall or Highland Park village for amazing shopping, Uptown for bar hopping, and the Bishop Arts district that has tons of amazing new restaurants:)

  5. It was so great getting to briefly meet you! I should have come to say bye, but just wanted to tell you that you are gorgeous and sooo nice!!! Thanks for hosting a blow out party in Austin 🙂

  6. I started following you on snapchat and your trip looked like it was so much fun! I love how much of your life you share online and via social because I feel like I always have someone that I can relate to who is one click away! Keep inspiring all of us girl xo Annie

  7. So bummed I missed you while you were in Austin! You definitely hit some great spots though. My favorite thing about Austin is that there’s an abundance of amazing food- you can literally walk into any restaurant and it’ll be good. Next time you’re here try Perla’s or Second Bar + Kitchen!
