{ Farmer’s Market finds: prepping for an upcoming post }
I love summer as much as Kanye West loves Kanye West.
The season is kinda like, basically my version of heaven.
Really though, who doesn’t love fresh lavender at the local Farmer’s Market, a valid excuse to garnish Kombucha with hot pink flamingo stirrers, neon bikinis, & Rose Tuesday’s?
Uhhhh…anyone?
Summer in San Diego represents happiness!! I’m all about it; my smile is a little bigger, my step is a little more bouncy, & my creative-side is a helluva a lot more stimulated. So into it.

{ Everything ‘weekend’ }
This weekend we kept it low key with a minimal, chill to-do list:
♢ Dinner with friends on Friday at Cucina Urbana ✓
♢ Comic-Con street spying ( << but honestly, those costume! Rad. ) ✓
♢ Workout ✓
♢ Binge watch Game of Thrones ✓
♢ Try at least four really different smoothie recipes ✓
♢ Dog search ( << wink, wink…Pixy might need a BFF ) ✓
And now it’s Monday & I’m severely depressed because we finished the last episode of Game of Thrones.
EEEKKKK. Ick. Boo.
Sadly, I keep finding myself in situations where I binge-watch a TV show & then it ends &…well ( crying ), the struggle is real.
(( Did I mention I become SUPER invested in certain characters in books/shows? Like, I’ll be yelling at the book/TV like we’re in some kind of deep relationship…honestly, I may or may not actually, really, seriously think Tyrion Lannister from GOT is my boyfriend )).
Anyways.
Following the weekend’s activities, I have a bunch of smoothie posts for you guys. Because, I mean, after Sunday I’m basically the Pablo Picasso of smoothies ( the endless possibilities gave me creative anxiety in the best way ).
So get excited!!
How was your weekend? What’d you do?? Anything fun/exciting/life-changing? Share!

{ Enjoying summer nights w/ The Nanz }
It’s basically raining since 3 weeks, this should be summer here in Switzerland, but this year you don’t even have to worry about the bikini fugure or anything…So I did the next best thing on the weekend: attended a university – seminar (LAST one 🙂 and spent sunday hiking, cooking & reading.
Your motorcycle setup reminds me of SOA which is coming soon (so excited) I miss summer, festivals, BBQ’s etc. living in Bangkok this time of year means one thing RAIN which blows! Your post made me miss home, enjoy your summer Lauren! xo C
absolutely love your outfit! and can’t wait for the smoothie recipes 🙂
There truly is no love like the love for Summer! 😉
Yum! I went to Cucina Urbana for my birthday! There grilled Mediterranean octopus is amazing!! What smoothie places did you try out and like?! I’m always searching for healthy smoothie spots in SD. Love all your pics btw & I totally agree that summer is perfect here 🙂
“I love summer as much as Kanye West loves Kanye West” – dying!
The glasses..you look good, love it 😉
I so understand getting invested into movie/TV/book characters and then feeling depressed when it doesn’t turn out the right way – because obviously, the way I want it to turn out is THE right way! While melting in 85% humidity, we played golf this weekend and I didn’t do any worse than quadruple bogie on any one hole which is a new record for me! Yay!
I love San Diego in the summer. There is no better time or place in the world.
I also get super invested in TV shows & characters. I kept up with GoT week to week this past season and – one month later – I’m still having a hard time getting over what happened to Oberyn!
Me too : ((!! Ahhhh.
Wow. That bike is really something special!
