Mini DeLites + Sober November

I grabbed today by its balls; I finished up a bunch of dreaded tasks that are too boring to list.

Like, they were some really boring, FML life to-do’s ( F U taxes! ).

{ SIGH }.

My productivity this Monday is attributed to a scroll of lists, iPhone alarm reminders…& no drinking.

Yup, yup, yup.

I’ve been dead sober for two weeks. Michael & I nixed alcohol until Thanksgiving.

(( Because my Thanksgiving without red wine is like Mary-Kate without Ashley, ying without yang, pink salt without pepper )).

Besides I don’t want to be a Buzz Killington on TG—!

But after the festivities I’m going another week without booze.

!!!

Oh, & reason for a sobs November: to detoxxxxx, duh; meaning no alcohol, super light dairy, & lots of exercise/green juice/water.

P.S. no wine= tighter abs, more energy, & an extra boost of productivity.

  1. My Monday to do list is typically quite long and effing sucks! So I feel ya!! Good for you and sober November, that is one hard task. Giving up vino would be esp hard for me.

  2. What is thanksgiving without some wine or (my choice) beer? It is like whats football without beer…. 😉 You have a great goal and I am sure you’ll stick to it!

    1. Thanks Tara! It’s been weirdly easy to give up wine…but I’m sure I’ll welcome it back with open arms on TG ; ).

  3. I am so with you on the Mondays thats what I do get all the dreaded tasks done Monday so the rest of the week I can focus on the stuff I truly enjoy doing! Sending you lots of love during a sober November I know how hard it can be to go out and not just have one glass I do thirty days of no booze all the time and its hard but always worth it! Love C

I had an extremely productive monday too, thanks to 4 days of intense Kundalini Yoga before…Since I knew this teacher training would be coming up, I also ditched Alcohol and animal products a week before. It feels so good right now I’m going to keep it up for a while (we have no thanksgiving).

    I grind my flax seeds up in my espresso grinder; whole flax seeds can sometimes pass through the body undigested and grinding those little guys ensures your body reaps all of the benefits. Love you girl!
