I’m making Michael participate in my latest obsession: ‘Meatless Mondays‘.

He loves it. He just doesn’t know it yet.

Meatless Monday is ( you guessed it! ) where you go meatless on Monday.

Although I’m not a big meat fan to begin with, it’s fun to make this pledge with your husband/wife/GF/BF/friend/dog. ESP for me, because it’s totally typical to see Michael reaching for the high sodium salami ( << barf! ) around 4 pm everyday. So sorry, hunny! Buh-bye to your sickie salami habit ( @ least on Mondays! ).

Tonight I cooked homemade lentil soup, a sweet potato, & an arugula salad with tons of veggies. So perf, so meatless.

  2. what kind of meats do you eat? i am looking to reduce the amount of meat in my diet but not so sure what to substitute it with to still get an adequate protein-carb balance.

  3. Great idea! I actually started to go vegan on Mondays (wanted to cut down on dairy as well) a few months ago and its been working out well!
