This weekend we flew up to San Fran to meet up with our friend, Stephen ( it’s a You, Me & Dupree situation- lol ).
Stephen’s the type of guy who likes set plans ( like some real, serious plans ). Let’s just say he types up full blown itinerary. Michael’s a psycho planner too, so I was def the odd man out. On vacay, I’m more of ‘let’s see where the day takes us/no stress’ type.
Saturday’s itinerary went something like this:
9:00 am: wake up/eat ( FYI: this involves a wake up call at 9 am on the dot from Stephen )
10:15 am: Blue Bottle Coffee Co. ( << the.best.coffee.ever !! )
10:30 am: rent bikes
11:30 am: brunch @ Outerlands
1:30 pm: bike to Alembic for craft cocktails
8 pm: a drink at Tradition, a mixology bar
10 pm: dinner at Commonwealth
So anyway…I was a litttttttle surprised when Stephen veered off his usually strict schedule: he told Michael & I that the bike ride was a mile or two.
We ended up biking for about five-six hours. Uphill, downhill, off roading, everything. I loved this unexpected adventure– bar crawling while burning some major cals? I’m in. Hey, hey multitasking.
But after about ten million miles, we were totally joking/bitching at Stephen. Remember Laguna Beach, circa 2005-ish when Kristen would say “Ste-PHEN!!!!!”
Ya. That was me.
I mean, I was just trying to follow the itinerary.

Some highlights of the trip: the weather, spending time with friends, the amazing craft cocktails, Clift Hotel’s ridiculously oversized furniture, & working my ass off/biking while seeing the city.
This week I’ll be detoxing, juicing, chugging aqua, & doing some serious Pilates!
