& I’m backkkkkkk.
Miss me?
I def missed you guys ; ).
This past weekend, we attended a blogger conference in Dallas, Texas & I have to say it totally renewed my love for blogging.
That’s not to say I’m not blogger-sessed, but sometime you sorta get into a routine. I just needed to refresh my blogger brain & gather new insp.
And after spending some time surrounded by some serious blog idols ( AKA Sincerely Jules, Sea of Shoes ( << she’s so cute ), Song of Style, Gal Meets Glam, & Emily Maynard ), I’m ready to rock TSC.
After the conf, I have a bunch of new, fresh ideas to bring to the blog. I just feel, whelp, so, so inspired. Anyway, point: look forward to some fun new content.
Ok, so naturally I had to recap TSC in Dallas. Here ya go:
Some highlights of the trip: connecting with like-minded bloggers from around the world, The Joule Dallas Hotel, meeting the faces behind Kate Spade, Nasty Gal ( << my fav! ), Nordstrom, & Neiman Marcus, enjoying the warm weather ( << I loved it!! ), delicious meals, & meeting the kind, kind people who live in Dallas.
Mannnnn, the people of Dallas are nice. Real nice. People actually wanted to know how you’re doing.
Weird.
But rad, right?
Oh, lemme tell ya: Dallas has some hearty-ass food. Wowie. So I definitely indulged a bit…I had some Nutella, banana French toast that was seriously life-changing. It kind of, like, made me want break-up with Michael & just eat the banana-filled dessert all day.
Also, how amazing does the sourdough bread with the carrot hummus look above? I’m seriously drooling as I type ( per usu, for food posts ).
I documented the trip through Instagram. Insta has become such a creative outlet that I’m starting to really blog through Instagram ( << but of course, will still post on TSC regularly as well! ).
Also, Nasty Gal’s founder, Sophia Amoruso’s new book, #GIRLBOSS is too good to be true. Such a great read ESP if you’re a female entrepreneur/boss. Plus you get $25 dollars off Nasty Gal…so it’s win/win.
Since last weekend was so cray, cray, I’m ready for a super chill week full of cooking, blogging, & spooning Pixy.
What’d you guys do this weekend?
x L
{{ Shop the post: collared shirt, blue velvet skirt ( << on sale ), Michael’s baby blue kicks, black sandals, rose gold headphones, cow print blouse, black jeans, #GIRLBOSS, NARS ‘Heat Wave’ lipstick, aviator sunglasses, pink skirt ( << not avail, but this one’s similar ) & hand piece }}.
It’s awesome to come back from a trip feeling renewed and inspired.
I love your hair in the half-up, half-down ‘do in the top picture.
Must have been amazing, and I can only imagine the Texan food was rich and delicious. Did you have any discussions on the future of blogging with all the other attendees?

I am so jealous that you were at that conference, looks like tons of fun! Hope you got some awesome opportunities 🙂
I was in Dallas also! Not for the conference and I’m not a blogger, just love reading them! We stayed downtown and had the best time. The Anaheim Ducks even strolled through our hotel…. I lost my cool for just a minute. It was an amazing trip and I’m still exhausted today.
Glad you enjoyed my home town! Hope to attend this conference some day!

Swoon. I miss Dallas!
I love trips when my inspiration in something is renewed!
And this past weekend I did anything and everything to be outside! This is my fave time of year as the weather warms up and the sun is shinning brightly. Oh yea, and I did the whole Jazz Fest thing on Sunday. Loved it!
#RoseAllDay Looks like the conference was a blast! Looking forward to all the cool new content you’ll be sharing!

Yay, so happy you’re posting more on Insta! And you’re pretty much a blog idol so it’s funny to hear you say that about other bloggers but we’re totes jealous that you got to go hang with such inspirational peeps! Sounds like a blast! Xo, S
Wah, I want those blue converse! So, so, so cute. So perfect for spring and summer. And yeah, that carrot hummus definitely looks divine. Need that in my mouth.
I love that feeling of buzzing with energy and inspiration after coming back from a trip! You feel like you have a new outlook on life. Love it!
Trip sounds awesome! I love the half up half down do! Can you do a tutorial on that? And maybe how you do your makeup too! Xoxo 🙂
