Ahhhh– isn’t it nice to be pampered?! My GF & I went to Leu Leu Beauty Bar a week ago; I kick backed, worked on the blog, & had a pedi/blow-out. Multi-tasking at its finest.
Since I’m not a big blow-dry/straight iron fan [ it dries the hair out, the heat is damaging, & it hurts to hold my hand up in one position for twenty minutes…LOL ], the stylist styled my mane stick straight for a change.
As far as the eco-friendly mani/pedis that Leu Leu offers, I choose navy toesies with a bit of glitttttterrrr! And naturally [ in case you’re dying to know ], my pick for my ice cream foot fizzy was pumpkin scented.
Interesting stuff.
Before I sign off ze blog tonight, here’s two other hair tips I forgot to include on my last hair post:
1.] I love my showers hot. Like burning, turn your skin red, scolding-kind of hot. So right before getting out of the steaming shower, I turn on the freezing cold water. And dunk my head under it. For a whole minute. Baaaa baaa brrrrrr. Maybe I’m OCD but it seals my conditioner into my hair. I swear, try it!
2.] Don’t ever, ever, ever get a haircut if the ultimate goal is to grow your locks long. Get what’s called a ‘dust.’ Ask any hairdresser [ they should be familiar with a ‘dust’ ] to use new, sharp scissors to carefully skim the ends. All that comes off are the tiny split ends…instead of the length.
Ok. I’m pooped. Goodnight babes.

Oh, that place looks so cute!! Those colors in there!!
I’ve been wanting a mani/pedi for ages, but at the moment I’m to broke to spend my rent on that, so I just get my DIY groove on and pamper myself at home! 🙂
Love DIY! So fun ; ).
Beautiful pictures! 🙂 Love the glittery colours – and I think we have the same ring! 🙂
Love those polish colors!! And thanks for all those hair tips — I think I’m going to buy some coconut oil and use it for conditioner! I hate how all conditioners out there right now always have some type of alcohol as the 1st or 2nd ingredient — when I KNOW alcohol dries out hair!
The coconut oil is amaze. Way better than any conditioner w/ alc. Thanks for reading Corey! X.
I’m totally going to try that dusting next time I see my hair stylist!
You’ll love it!
Always clean the area around the eyebrow with a pre-wax cleanser. Wipe off any excess with cotton.
