How is it almost Christmas?!
Currently I have like six million windows open on the computer because I’m trying to shop…early.
HA! I know, right? Is that an oxymoron? Me, early.
Phfft.
Because normally I’m Jingle All the Way.
You know, you know, the dad ( AKA Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger ) running around like a certifiably nuts, psycho doing everything in life to find a Turbo-Man doll?
Ya, well that’s me. Every year.
So, big changes for X-mas 2013, because tonight’s itinerary is Brandi & Carlton’s ‘friendship kiss’, a Happy Vegan salad…& online Christmas shopping…early { !!! }.

{ Pretty excited: I was holiday shopping online…& saw TSC book! }
Since I live away from home, and have for the past few holiday seasons I tend to just online shop and get the presents sent to their house – saves me worrying about shipping! Plus, if you buy from an online store you know they love even if your gift is wrong they can so easily exchange it with a gift receipt 🙂

omg your view! mine is gray skies and tons of snow…it’s basically the tundra in pittsburgh. however, i love this steel city (born and raised)! i’m all done shopping (squeal!!!) but haven’t wrapped a thing. i like to put on some xmas tunes, make a skinny peppermint hot cocoa and get my elf on ha.
I do not do well in crowds trying to shop plus I have a long commute so the last thing I want to do after work is go shopping before my hour long drive home pluuuus the end of the year is the busiest time for me at work and I usually end up working late every night for about 2-3 weeks before Christmas 😛 So it’s a must that I get my shopping done early and I def do all my shopping online and I actually do it throughout the year. Like I saw something perfect for my grandfather in May and bought it and put it in our guest bedroom closet (AKA the Christmas gift/wrapping closet). This may sound nerdy but I keep a spreadsheet with my Christmas list and columns for Gift Idea, Actual Gift, Purchased, Received (if I bought it online and had to wait for it to be shipped to me), and Wrapped. It’s kind of fun filling out the gift columns and then checking off the last three. I was actually done shopping and wrapping BEFORE Thanksgiving which is a new record for me 🙂 Also, spreading out shopping throughout the year is much easier on my budget!
You just can’t avoid it, darling. We last-minute shoppers were born this way. Embrace us. Love us. Accept us. We are strong.
