So.

Some of my friends and I started a book club.

& I’m so into it.

A book club’s right up my alley.

Like, reading + GF’s + wine?

Uhhh…I’m in.

A month before the get-together some of my friends and I choose the book: Unbearable Lightness: A Story of Loss and Gain by Portia da Rossi. We all agreed to read the book while we compared notes via text ( FYI: Emojis were used more than 100 times ).

After reading Portia’s story we decided to meet up on Friday night. We all def enjoyed a cheese plate & a few glasses of rosé while we discussed Portia’s story ( which we all enjoyed but found a bit depressing ).

And BTW: just because it was a ‘Book Club’ doesn’t mean we didn’t let loose ; ).

Book club, smook club.

Anyway I guess my question tonight is for you guys: do you want to read January’s book with us? Like, you’d be a part of our book club in spirit? If so, LMK below. And if you’re all interested, I’ll let you guys know the book we’re reading for January’s book club.

Fun times ; ).

Happy Monday!

xx.Lauryn

What is the January book? I do like biography’s and am enjoying Linda Ronstadt’s memoir.
      don’t want to get d
epressed so I don’t know about Portia DeRossi’s book. Why so depressing?

That book was really hard to read, but her story is so empowering for anyone going through a struggle like that. I’ve been slacking on the reading front, so I’d love to follow along with your book club!

Yes! I would love to join a virtual book club. Maybe we can do it over Google hang out or something so isn’t an never ending stream of comments to wade through… Can we read something a long the lines of Portia’s book? Something not too long or heavy?

Hi! Your “mini delights” are always so darling. The mugs, candles, table decor, dishes etc. Where are you shopping around Del Mar for all these great items?
