{ A tiny gold DIY alligator on my coffee table }
{ Latest favorite oil: tea tree }
Hi guys!
Guess what? Want to know the gnarlist thing ever?
I’m in Vegas for a whole freaking week for work. Ahhh!
WTF’s girl to do with 24/7 cig smoke, super dry weather, & barely any healthy options??
Bring a bag full of Suja Juice, a whole carton of Cuties ( mini tangerines ), & ten apples, of course.
I mean, it’s slim pickings when it comes fresh veggies/fruits/protein in Vegas. It’s more like alcohol/crappy foods/gambling.
So ya, when Michael asked me why my carry on luggage was soooo heavy, I attributed it to my shoes ( << hey a little healthy white lie never hurt a flea ).
And when I unpacked he looked at me like I was bat shit psycho.
Whatevs.
At least I’ll be feeling hot & tight…in Vegas.
Oxymoron?
IDK.
Happy Monday! xx.Lauryn

Have a fabulous time in Vegas! You packed the best items to stay healthy ๐
I love how polaroids look, such a brilliant decor idea
HAVE FUN IN VEGAS!
Ah, I’m dying to try tea tree oil, but I’m having a tough time finding it. I don’t have a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods nearby. Do you use pure tea tree oil? I’ve heard it works wonders for spots on the face, and it’s all-natural, which I love. Is there a brand available through Amazon that you like?
I’d also like to pick up some peppermint oil – great for massaging on tired feet at the end of the day. Tried it?
I am so excited to hear about your Vegas trip but yes Vegas is no place for a healthy gal! Hope you have fun and enjoy yourself though ๐
Serious? No healthy options at all in Vegas??? Well thanks for the heads up girlie! Have an awesome time!
Tea tree oil is amazing! The Body Shop also has an amazing Tea Tree concealer for blemishes.

The piggies are so cute! Love C
This post made me laugh…I moved to Vegas less than a year ago and have actually found a couple of healthy spots but they are slim pickings around here, especially on the strip. Good thinking with the healthy packing! ๐ Enjoy your week here!
Just an FYI…I always stay at palazzo in Vegas. (Read: canyon ranch spa and cafe…) they also have Tao…lots of nice menu options there. The gym and cafe are phenomenal.
Ah have so much fun in Vegas! Tea Tree Oil is AMAZE. It’s also really good at getting rid of pimples!

PS – i’m obsessed with that alligator!
I just came back from Vegas and had the same problem. Unfortunately I didnโt pack healthy snacks, so I’m making up for it all this week! ๐ LOL have a great trip!! Btw love the polaroid idea!! ๐
My hubby & I live in Vegas every summer. Try Greens + Proteins, its a little off the strip {maybe about 10 minutes depending on where you’re staying} but well worth the trip for healthy food ๐
OMG!!! Yummm. Such a good rec babe– thank you!!
try go raw cafe, red velvet cafe, rachel’s kitchen, the daily kitchen, or greens and proteins.. or there is always whole foods! also try a hot pilates class at inferno ๐
Like some mentioned above… check out Greens N Proteins, there is a Trader Joes near the North end of the Strip and a Whole Foods at the South end of the strip. Lots of yoga studies, a Purre Barre studio and gyms with Body Pump and other Les Mills classes near the strip as well. The outdoor mall (Town Square),where there is a Whole Foods, also hosts a Farmers Market on Friday afternoons. Enjoy the real Las Vegas.
Thanks for the recommendations! Unfortunately I’m working on the Strip all week- but next time I’m here I will check it out :-). xx
You are so talented and creative! Love the little animals idea! Check our my blog when you get a chance ๐
