Today was a major detox day.
I’m sure you’ve all had one of those Monday’s.
You know, you know, where you wake up craving a super healthy day?
I woke up after a nine hour sleep, completed a major sweat sesh, & grabbed the gnarliest green drink ever ( like, seriously ever: kale, spinach, cucumber, romaine, & cucumber ). And after that I chased it with a detox shot ( a healthy shot in a shot glass– oxymoron? ) & went for a walk with Pixy.
I returned about six thousand e-mails, organized my to-do list for the week, & then…wait for it…got a medical massage. And OMFG, if you’ve never gotten a medical massage add it to your to-do list. Even though I was holding back tears ( because geezzzzz, it’s some intense shit ), I feel like a million bucks now. It def relieved major tension.
For my detox dinner, we had wild rice, sweet potato slices, & a huge salad. Dessert was a watermelon juice with mint, lime, and ginseng.
So, hey Monday, I’m feeling pretty good about you. You’re not so bad.
Detox Monday’s are my new jam. It just makes starting the work week off much easier. I’m feeling refreshed & ready to tackle my week…so what about you? How did you start you week off? Positive, negative, so/so?
