Sorry! Sorry! I’m totally late on the weekly ‘Mini DeLites’ post ( normally I feature the section on Monday nights, not Tuesday ).
But honestly?!!! After shooting yesterday’s YouTube tutorial for eight hours straight, I was exhausted/hypoglycemic/hungry.
Typically I snack throughout the day. Yesterday, though…? Not so much. I forgot to eat.
Soooo ( GASP! ) guess what happened? At dinner I shoved my face with chips & salsa & beans & guacamole. Heyyyy, I’m fine with indulging every once in a while but not in the eat-everything-or-I’ll-die-from-starvation type of way.
If I don’t snack throughout the day, then I’ll end up stuffing myself full of crappy crap.
Anyway now I’m feeling much better! Examples of snacks today ( thus far ): sprouted toast, a kale/apple/lemon Suja, pineapple, a cup of coffee, grapes, hummus, an egg & some cottage cheese.
What’s your favorite satisfying, on-the-go snacks?
