[ My new favorite snack ]
Here in San Diego, we’re experiencing what we call “June Gloom.” It’s difficult enough to hop out of bed on the first day of a work week, & this crappy weather certainly does not help! To fight off the Monday blues, I grabbed a book & did an hour on the elliptical. It’s insane how getting my endorphins up changed the entire course of the day.
In a way, working out is similar to therapy. When I’m sweating, I think about work, blogging, my to-do list, the news, family, friends, Pixy, any current issues, etc. And after.every.single.workout I leave feeling clear headed & relieved. It a magic potion!
What do you find therapeutic on a terrible, horrible, very bad day?
