Ahhhh…San Francisco was a whirlwind! We had way too much fun, ate the most delectable foods, & drank enough to make me say “I am never drinking again” [ <<< I’m sure you all know this feeling! ]. It was a welcomed three-day vacation; in the past couple weeks I’ve been multi-tasking at full force, so it was heavenly to shut off my computer & relax.
Since my daily routine is rather healthy, the indulgent trip took its toll this morning. My immune system needs a swift kick in the ass! Tomorrow I’m doing a double workout, drinking only water, & eating foods filled with vitamins & nutrients [ think every vegetable imaginable, egg whites, water-filled fruits, & quinoa ]. I really try to practice balance: if I let loose for a few days, then the next couple weeks I push myself to eat healthy & sweat often.
What’s your recovery advice- any tricks?
