[ Early Easter preparations ]

When it comes to the weekends, I really sincerely try to clear my schedule. The freedom to go anywhere & do anything is so liberating. Sometimes it turns out perfectly relaxing, while other times it flies by packed with playing the game of catch-up. Many times it seems that I never actually do catch-up [ example: this past weekend ]!

Anyways, I have been reading the book The 4-Hour Workweek & I have to say I am completely inspired to cut any unnecessary crap out of my life. There’s absolutely no reason to work my life away. This upcoming weekend is going to be spent doing what I want to do: working out, reading, cooking, drinking vino, & being with friends. Happy Monday!

  1. Laur,
I love your blog! Even though you already knew this, I just wanted to remind you =] This blog is one of the only things that get me through my day at school.
Also, thanks for getting the boys together this past weekend. My family really appreciated it. Hopefully we can all do it again once Im home after graduation.

    1. Thanks girl! You’re so sweet. We had so much fun this past weekend! Let’s def do it again. xoxo

  2. The 4-Hour Work Week is a great book. It really illuminates how much time we can waste in a day with inconsequential stuff. A great wake up call! It’s always disappointing when you realize you’ve spent nearly all of Saturday cleaning and doing errands and you are only left with one true day to kick it and do what you want. I really try to get my errands done during the week so I have most of my Saturday and Sunday “free”.

  3. i really need to do a better job with doing things that are worth while. great post girl, and great images 🙂
    xo TJ

  4. Very interesting picture indeed! 🙂 I really love to know the story behind each picture.. They are perfectly captured. 🙂
