Lymphatic Drainage: YES PLZ.

For those of you that don’t know, I’m obsessed with the lymphatic system. It all started when my friend returned from Shanghai a few years ago. She told me people would walk around the parks massaging their lymph nodes. Not a normal sight in the US so I was intrigued. I started dry brushing & became addicted to the feeling. Then when Michael & I traveled to Asia I got a lymphatic drainage massage.  LIFE-CHANGING. After that experience I became full-blown obsessed. WHY? Because the benefits of stimulating your lymph system and the feeling after are insane. Check it out.

stimulating your lymph system:

+ reduces swelling and detoxifies the body

+ increases immunity & production of antibodies

+ promotes healing & reduces headaches

Lymphatic drainage isn’t just for your body. It’s also AMAZING for your face. You’ve heard me talk about the jade roller before and now I’m sharing my routine to really elevate your skincare game.

FACIAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

THE SERUM HERE }

+ Starting with a clean face apply your favorite serum & moisturizer.

Choose a serum that suits your skin concerns. I love this vitamin c serum because in addition to Vitamin C it contains Vitamin E, Hyaluronic & Ferulic Acid, Organic Rosehip & Argan Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Carrot Seed Oil and Pomegranate Extract.

THE JADE ROLLER HERE }

+ Using gentle pressure, roll in upward + outward motions all over your face.

Why a jade roller? Jade rollers help improve circulation, reduce wrinkles, replenish your facial muscles & revitalize the elasticity of skin. Jade has been used for thousands of years to maintain body fluid.

THE CLARISONIC SMART PROFILE UPLIFT HERE }

+ Massage over entire face, neck, and décolleté area.

If you’re ready to really step up your skin care game grab the Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift. It’s like a regular Clarisonic on crack. EVERYONE needs one.  It drains your eyes & is great for your neck. This tool provides an anti-aging facial massage that is proven to reduce 15 signs of aging over the course of 12 weeks. I just started using it & I’m seriously in love.

The difference in my skin after beginning this routine is insane. What are some of your anti-aging secrets? SPILL!

  1. Yes to lymphatic drainage! I just got back from a Lymphedema conference and we talked about head and neck swelling. Soft dry brushes are also great for dry brushing the face!

  2. Can you please do a video showing the motions to use on your face with the roller? Even a Snap is fine!

  3. I use a Clarisonic on my face and neck every day and I’m always complaining that I wish it was more intense. I had absolutely NO idea that they had a profile uplift one! Clarisonic on crack… Yeah, I think I’m sold.
    Thanks for the info!

  4. Hi Lauryn,
    Thanks for posting this! I have the ice roller and I’ve been using downward and outward motions. Should I be using upward motions instead? My main goal is lymphatic drainage. Thank you!
