Ya, ya, there’s A LOT of parties during the holiday season.

I feel like everyone on the planet has to deal with this situation. SO! I am giving you some tips & tricks and healthy habits for dealing with all the holiday parties ( AKA booze, appetizers, trays passing with hors d’oeuvres, gingerbread houses, you get it ). It’s just a shit show if you don’t plan for it you know?

Anyway, where am I going with all this?!

SO: today, after years of doing the whole holiday party thing- I am ready to share some tips that have REALLY worked for me.

Also! Red is festive for the holidays- as it’s this great time of the year I am loving red nails, lips, bodysuit, the works kind of. Normally I would’ve stayed away from red for the winter season HOWEVER, lately I love a monochromatic look. LIKE I’M HERE FOR THE MONOCHROMATIC LOOK. So red, on red, on red- thoughts?

I was loving the darker vibe for the holidays.

The slicked back pony is always a fun hair style too. To be completely honest with you, I went with this hair style on this particular day because my face was feeling bloated & I really needed to tighten the situation.

A ponytail does that, doesn’t it?

It kind of gives you an instant facelift.

I’m here for it.

Especially during the holidays, you know? Weight gain by too much gathering – I needed a little de-bloat situation.

Wait, I’m going off on a tangent we need to keep me on track!

Healthy Holiday Habits


 Stay Healthy: Spoil that appetite

+ advice from Tanya: GG crackers with eggs, avocado, GG pizza, GG French toast, or raw almond butter.
+ advice from Kelly: drink an almond butter, protein, green smoothie.

LET’S TALK booze

+ start with a glass of wine or champagne & add ICE for extra water.
+ drink a glass of water after each drink.
+ switch to Tito’s vodka with 3 lemons & sparkling water.

Severely color-coded Google Calendar

+ stay active: schedule a workout every. single. day  – stay on track …you know this from this post.
+ there’s so much going on so BLOCK OFF time so there are no excuses.

CURRENTLY: we are spending time in Boulder, Colorado meeting with some of Michael’s partners…& attempting to ski but I feel like that’s not going to happen. I mean there’s no snow. Michael may have jumped the gun on this one. Can’t wait to see how he’s going to creatively shift this situation. He really planned for snow, you know? HAHAHAHAH. Stay tuned for what he’s going to do?

Anyway! We are off to dinner- lots of Italian food happening but I can assure you I will be using my tips & tricks.

  1. Great tips! The problem I’m having right now is that it’s so cold all I want to do is hole up in my apartment and eat carbs! Though I’m forcing myself to get out (I even ran in place inside the other day just to get in a workout when I couldn’t fathom going outside.)
