Juice Detox: Day 3

[ Day 3- Fresh 9 Super Colon Detox ]

Wa-hoo! I made it to day three. Last night I was feeling slightly grumpy but after a protein-packed meal the unpleasant feeling disappeared. For dinner I gobbled down an egg white omelette with a few pieces of turkey, cauliflower, garlic & zucchini. Tonight’s meal will be lentil soup with chicken & broccoli.

For those of you who asked about working out during the cleanse, I have been active throughout the entire duration [ this AM: one hour of Pure Barre ]. Not going to lie though, over the past few days I have come to genuinely appreciate my red wine, daily bananas & cinnamon sprinkled coffee.

Some my friends participated in the cleanse & I asked for their assessments. They rated: tastiness [ 1 delicious – 10 disgusting ] & difficulty [ 1 easy – 10 difficult ].

We were all in agreement that day two the most delicious & the day three tasted the worst.

 [ Ingredients: beets, celery, carrots, cucumber, ginger, lemon, lettuce, parsley & spinach ]


  1. You should try the Blueprint Cleanse next time. They do an all veggie cleanse (excavation) which I love. It’s 195.00 for a three day cleanse, so worth it. I would imagine you would have even more results being that there is no sugar in the cleanse from the beets and carrots (I always tell them I have a nut allergy so as to skip the cashew milk)

  4. I’m currently on Day 2 and I think this juice is hard to get down. I hope tomorrow’s will taste better!! I feel great and I haven’t craved anything 🙂

  5. In a previous post you said the juice loses its nutrition after 20 mins :s I can’t be making juices at work. What should I do?

  6. Hey Lauryn! Love your blog. If using a blender will that adjust the portions? As in, un-coring apples, removing lemon peels, etc. Or should it just all be thrown in whole?
