Hottie Workout Gear ( & Totally Budget-Friendly )

The Skinny Confidential takes Vegas. The Skinny Confidential talks diet and fitness.

I lovvvvvveeee a good sweat sesh.

But you know what I love even more?

A good bargain.

ESPECIALLY when it comes to workout clothes.

So when Target came out with their latest C9 items, I pulled out my spectacle to inspect. And lemme tell ya, the stuff is not just great, it’s PHENOMENAL.

Like, A++. The material is fab, the look is cool, & the colors are on point ( plus their sports bras really hold ‘the girls’ up, if ya know what I mean ).

And seriously, I haven’t taken off my grey, crew neck C9 sweat shirt. It’s sort of off the shoulder & perfect in all the right ways. I’ve been rocking it Mon-Fri.

The reason I’m so anal when it comes to workout clothes is because I’m always out & about. So I havvvvvee to have something that transitions from a sweat sesh, to a meeting, to coffee, to the bank, to the post office, to date night, etc.

And this get-up really got the job done. In fact, I wore it to a coffee meeting last week— coffee? Eer, I totally meant hemp cappuccinos because they’re the best things EVER.

Ok so, what’s your favorite way to transition workout clothes? Any tips?

  1. I absolutely love the quality of your pictures, they really show the fun and play-fullness of you and I adore it. And not to mention I am now so stoked to go to Target and check out their new workout wear thanks to this post. 😀

  2. Cleo at the SLS hotel, I am not kidding you… it will blow your mind. All tapas (bite sized) & rated the 5th best restaurant in the U.S.! If you’re feeling adventurous, get the bone marrow, I swear it’s a game changer. Oh, & Yellowtail at the Bellagio– try the pop rock sushi, party in your mouth… literally. Have fun boo! x, E

  3. Bouchon at the Ventian was amazing (fish and escarole salad) and Olives at Bellagio (filet) was awesome!

  4. Lauryn! Great pics, especially loving the last one *insert heart eyes emoji*.

I saw a dream last night and you were in it haha! I had my birthday and you came for a surprise visit and we just hung out on the patio with a big group of girls & gossiped & it was sooo chill.

    Enjoy Vegas!

    xx Anni

  5. I love Target for workout clothes!! It wasn’t until maybe 2 years ago that I started to actually invest (within a budget of course) on nice workout clothes that could transition well anddd amazingly something else happened…it made me want to workout more! I felt like if I felt good about myself and my clothes before even hitting up the gym I was more motivated to get in a good quality workout and not be ducking behind the elliptical anytime someone new came in.
Also, I love those new balance sneakers…where are they from or what are they called??

  6. I love some of Target’s gear but overall you need to beware of inexpensive workout wear. Thin fabrics that are sheer, hot and that pill are the norm. Longevity and durability are problems too. So keep in mind, like so many other areas of life, you get what you pay for.

  7. I love this post. I have to say I also miss Target here in Europe. But that also saves me some money right now 😉 Oh, I have to recommend Bouchon at the Venetian as well. You should certainly try it. Have fun. x, Mel

  8. That shirt looks so comfy!

Mix lounge at Mandalay Bay has great views, especially from the 2nd ladies room stall, ha! For real though…

  9. Thanks for sharing! I haven’t heard of Target’s workout line yet, but I have some workout gear from Old Navy and their’s is pretty good. I’m excited to try Target’s though!

  10. Ok, two places, if you’re into getting off the strip a little bit (which they are totally worth it) Bachi Burger (for burgers, clearly….they’re amazing, and I’m a big time food lover/kind of picky about quality — siobhan.yelp.com) and Babystacks for the best god damn pancakes I’ve ever had. Seriously.

  11. Love your pictures! I’m a new reader and have been binge-reading your posts for the past week or so and I love them. I was wondering if you could do a post with tips on staying cute while working out on the go (this post made me think of it)? I can never get my hair to look good after a workout and then I go to class/work and look awful. Or I workout after class but have my makeup on which just makes me feel gross. Lol I’m a newbie at working out (clearly)! Keep up the good work.

  12. Girl! You inspire me, i like all of your posts. I think i’m a FAN!!!

You have a great body, and a sexy belly. I’m a skinny girl, i have a flat belly and i miss some abs, i would like to know your abs workout please.

    Much love,
    Tema
    xoxo

  13. Can’t wait to see some fitness videos! I’d love to see some Barre videos. Oh and I’m obsessed with those sneakers!

  14. I totally have an athletic clothing addiction too! (which on a student’s budget is such a problem). I loveeee SportsDirect.com and Target.
What do you think about monthly clothing sites like Fabletics? (It’s my dream to one day subscribe…haah)

  15. I am very interested in this Target workout gear but noticed in one of your pictures an armpit wet spot. Is it because the shirt is very absorbent or was this after a workout? I definitely like the idea of gym- errands- multi use clothes but weary of looking like i worked out before the actual workout 🙂

  16. Fashion meets Fitness! Now, the workout would even be more fun because you feel good about the way look. Not only that, but you feel beautiful as well. This is a great read!

  17. Fitness attire = check… Body goals=check …quality and brilliance of pictures=check…let me stop because i could go on and on and create the notion that I’m obsessive. thanks

  18. Love how you merge fitness and fashion. You do look beautiful and fit indeed 🙂 Have you tried using footwear for cross training (http://bestraters.com) . Such shoes define your feet better I think…with less cushion. Love your NB btw

  19. Nice and Perfect looking outfit..
