Preparing for night out on the town is normally overwhelming, to say the least. The day usually consist of running around like a crazy person with a list of nails, tanning, etc. [ if you’re like me- everything is left to the last second ]. Per usual, New Year’s Eve was nothing different. Since it was almost a guaranteed that I would not be feeling so hot in the AM, I decided to squeeze in two workouts with Pure Barre & Pilates. Sunday was dedicated to laying around in my pajamas, watching a sappy chick-flick & eating chips with salsa.
Pre-party Tips:
+ Drink as much water as possible.
+ Grab a veggie juice- it’s quick & contains vital nutrients.
+ Bring a protein bar in your purse [ My preference: bars with 18 grams of protein ].
+ Bananas, baby carrots & grapes are perfect snacks for you’re strapped for time.
+ Eat carbs before you drink; they absorb alcohol [ I eat an open-faced sandwich ].
+ I like having a cup of coffee around 2 pm [ helps with energy for late nights ].
+ Do not take Tylenol before you drink: it has Acetaminophen in it, which when mixed with alcohol damages the liver.
