Ohhhhh geez! I have missed you all: traveling/computer malfunctions make it extremely difficult to access the blog. But I.am.back.in.action. And…jet lag can be a real bitch too.
So! Summer is finally here; naturally, super bright manicured nails & a toned tummy are essentials. Each fruit I compared the polishes to are full of antioxidants, vitamins, & nutrients. As for the colors, they project a fun, flirty, & unexpected [ hence some of the darker shades ] feel. Shorter nails + a pop of color + tons of rings + hippie chic hair = Summer 2012.
I picked out my favorite Julep nail polish colors [ w/ help from my fashionista friend, Erica ]. Why I’m in love with their polish: it’s fast-drying and free of: toluene, formaldehyde, & formaldehyde resin [ << found in most nail polishes ]. It’s also very natural: no petrochemicals, sulfates, &/or synthetic fragrances.
Lets face it: what girl doesn’t want perfectly polished nails, while she’s popping grapes in mouth, poolside?
Shop it [ in appropriate order: red [ January It Girl ], dark blue [ Jaime ] peach [ Hayden It Girl ], & royal purple [ Gayle Classic with a Twist ]. My most favorite pick can be found here.
P.S. The lucky lady of the Vix bikini giveaway winner will be announced tomorrow; if you haven’t entered, click here!
Fruit nail color of lovely shades. I always look for organic products and found this for my nails. Thanks, Lauryn.
