A pet peeve: when I’m in bed. watching a movie. with a glass of wine. spooning my dog. completely relaxed…and there’s nothing to satisfy my hand-to-mouth, sweet tooth [ *end of the world* ]. Nowadays food seems to have way too many hidden chemicals & added sugars. Welp, I took matters into my own hands with this lil DIY. These mini Greek yogurt frozen chips stole my heart when I was pinning away on Pinterest. Oh, & since they’re ugly without coloring, I secretly added a drop of neon food coloring [ sahahahaha!~!! ].

+ Baby blue nail polish found here.

+ Frozen Greek Yogurt Chips

Your choice of Chobani Greek yogurt [ my pick: strawberry banana low-fat ]

1 drop of food color [ just because ]

1 Ziplock bag

Directions: mix Greek yogurt with a drop of food color [ next time I’ll try turquoise ]. Add Greek yogurt into a Ziplock bag that is surrounding a cup. Separate the cup from the bag after you’ve poured the yogurt in to it. Seal the bag & cut the tiniest hole at one corner of the plastic bag. Use a small plate, making dots everywhere. Freeze for two hours.

  1. Just an fyi: you states about the hidden chemicals and sugars in your post…. not that food coloring as sugars, but they definitely are adding chemicals and dyes into your body that are not necessarily the best. Other than that this is such a good idea!!!!! <3

  2. I LOVE this idea!!! Sometimes you need something sweet but everything is full of crap! Thanks Lauryn!

  3. I have just discovered your blog, and yay! I have been trying and failing to be healthy for so long now and you have motivated me to do this! I can do it!! Thankyou for the inspiration!

  4. I have been seeing these on pinterest and I have always wondered if they taste as good as they look. It sounds like a great alternative for watching a movie with instead of a tub of ice-cream. 🙂

  5. what a great idea!!! I live in Cyprus so we have an abundance of local and fresh Greek yoghurt. I might try this with some honey for a traditional Greek take on it. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I stumbled across your blog about a month ago and I’m clearly obsessed. I’ve lost 60 pounds in one year but after awhile I needed motivation and tricks for my sweet tooth. I can not begin to tell you how genius this idea is. Thank you (;

    1. AHHH!! How exciting : ))). Congrats- I am so happy you like the blog : ) xox.

  7. yum…i buy greek yogurt trail mix at costco just so i can pick out the nuts and eat only the yogurt chips. this might be a slightly less wasteful way to get greek yogurt chips into my belleh, stat

  8. I’ll be taking the greek yogurt and putting in the blender with strawberries, and a separate one with blueberries. Everything organic of course! 🙂 No color will be needed since the fruit will be doing it. lol! I can’t wait to try this! Thank you! :))))

  9. Do these stay hard after? I had yogourt chips in cereal and they where hard but not frozen although even if they don’t this is a great idea!
