I spent a large part of today in a spread eagle/’happy baby’ position at Studio Barre. The.teacher.kicked.my.ass. With yesterday’s food overload I was jonesing for a hard, long workout. Studio Barre’s ballet-inspired fitness moves certainly did the trick. I feel sooooo much better.

MC: BRING SNACKS EVERYWHERE! This has been my number one saving grace.

MC: Currently, I’m really into yoga & Pilates at the moment. I’m working on my flexibility, but I have a long ways to go. So either yoga or Pilates four times a week.
+ What is your favorite go-to healthy food?
MC: Definitely raw cashews.
+ Cocktail of choice?
MC: I stick to sake!
+ Motivation to stay in shape?
MC: When I first started, I kept a photo of my goal body on my laptop & phone wallpaper. It’s a constant tool to remain focused. That & keep positive friends nearby…support it key : ).
+ World’s best beauty product?
MC: Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing & Makeup Remover Wipes.
+ Natural beauty remedy?
MC: I love using lip gloss just at the tips of the lips. It helps make them pop.
+ Quick, easy recipe?
MC: Toast two slices of whole grain baguette, then slice up some havarti & apples. Once the baguettes have been toasted, drizzle it with honey & top it with the havarti and apple slices. Perfect.
