Her fashion blog has become one of my favorites- it’s fresh, avant-garde, & oh-so-pretty! Not to mention she has the.best.taste.in.home.decor.
Like, it’s honestly to die for.
Since my big move I’ve been scoping the interior design section of her blog on the reg. So much inspo!
Anyway meet the stunning Kat behind the blog, With Love From Kat:
+ Tell us about yourself and your cutesy blog!
Kat Tanita: With Love From Kat is a personal style blog where I talk about fashion, food, decor and travel. I started WLFK right after graduating college. A few months after graduating I moved to NYC and my blog really took off. I’ve been blogging full time for the past 7 months now and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
+ What inspired you to start blogging?
KT: After graduating with a degree in Design, I started to miss the creative outlets that my assignments and internships provided. I literally googled “how to start a blog”, got With Love From Kat set up and the rest is history!
+ Advice for new bloggers?
KT: Be genuine and original. I cannot stress that enough. Originality will set you a part & get you noticed!
+ Tell us about your love for home decor? Your house looks amaze. Any tips?
KT: Thank you! I love to decorate and entertain. It was fun mixing high and low pieces from places like Ikea, Shabby Chic, Bungalow 5, & CB2. When it comes to decorating, I recommend doing your research – measure your space and compare different pieces online. Check out your local vintage and consignment stores for unique items that can easily be refinished or reupholstered. Don’t be afraid to mix old + new.
+ Quick skinny tips or tricks?
KT: If I’m trying to tone up fast, I do multiple spin classes/week, drink tons of green tea, & stay away from processed foods.
+ Weekly workout schedule?
KT: I recently joined Equinox, so I’ve been doing spin two mornings/week, yoga two nights/week & then weights/abs two days/week. Eventually I’d like to be doing more of each, but I’m easing into a routine right now ; ).
+ Favorite go-to healthy food?
KT: I love avocado! An arugula, parmesan, & avocado salad with lemon vinaigrette is delicious for lunch.
+ Cocktail of choice?
KT: French 75 ( champagne, gin, lemon juice, & sugar )
+ Motivation to stay in shape?
KT: I’m always on the go so being in shape is a must. Working out makes me look and feel good on the inside and outside.
+ World’s best beauty product?
KT: Bobbi Brown ‘Bali’ Bronzer for a sun kissed glow.
+ Natural beauty remedy?
KT: I always let my hair air dry. I shower at night and then go to bed with slightly damp hair which makes my hair look shiny and healthy in the morning.
+ Quick, easy healthy recipe?
KT: I make a simple green smoothie a few times a week. It just has ice, almond milk, banana, strawberries, mango, and spinach in it. If I have kale or blueberries lying around I’ll toss them in too!
