+ Introduce yourself.

I’m CeCe Frey. I was on X Factor USA on Fox ( & a season two finalist ).

+ When you were on your show, was it difficult to eat healthy because of your busy schedule?

It was definitely hard to eat healthy while I was on the X Factor. We barely had time to sleep most days, let alone concentrate on what we were eating. We were always going a hundred miles an hour, so most of the time you just had to grab whatever you could find just to have something in your stomach. And most of the time, it wasn’t the healthiest…

+ Quick skinny trick?

I don’t think there is a quick skinny trick. Any way you go about “getting skinny quick” isn’t that great for your body or your mind. But if I’m feeling kind of bloated or something one day, my skinny trick lies in what I wear, not what I do or don’t eat. Black is always a flattering color, or throw a long flowy cardigan over tights & a tank. That’s usually my go-to comfy outfit.

+ If you had to do a bikini shoot in a week, how would you prepare?

Well, I’m kind of obsessed with abs haha. So I would do extra abdominal workouts that week.

+ Weekly workout schedule?

Well before the show, I had a set schedule of doing CrossFit every other day. Then I kind of fell off the train & the X Factor became a work out in itself! Now I’m finally getting back in the swing of things & trying to do three to four times a week at least with spin class before the workout two days a week.

+ Favorite go-to healthy food?

Avocados. I love avocados on almost anything!

+ Motivation to stay in shape?

I just like to feel strong. I’m a small gal, so I like to feel powerful in my small stature. Warrior status!

+ Fitness tip? You all look amazing!

Don’t starve yourself! Eat when your hungry, but eat things that are good for your mind and body, and control your portions. Also, eat slowly! We can get so excited when were really hungry, so we just inhale it and forget to chew, which causes us to over eat. If you force yourself to eat slowly, your mind has more time to realize that you’re full.

+ Favorite beauty product?

I love Keri Shea Butter Conditioning Lotion. I use it every time I get out of the shower and it keeps my skin feeling soft, it also gives your skin a nice glow when you go out.

+ Natural beauty remedy that you do?

I sleep! Haha. So many times we forget how essential sleep is to our health!! Sleep helps your mind, your body, your skin, EVERYTHING stay in its best condition. I always look and feel better after a great nights sleep.

+ Secret model tip for diet and health?

It’s no secret. Be good to your body. It’s your temple. Treat it with respect by what you put into it and how you take care of it. Eat, drink (plenty of water!), exercise, sleep, and be healthy.
