People forget to stretch their face.
Ya. That’s right. They forget to stretch their face.
AND their neck.
I literally stretch my face & neck everyday.
Weird?
Not really.
Here’s the deal: if you don’t stretch your neck it may turn into a turkey neck.
You know, you know, that saggy skin under the chin that is a really gobble-gobbler situation?
Welp, since Thanksgiving is Thursday I thought it’d be totally appropriate to share some tips on how to avoid loose, turkey skin under the neck & on the face.
Ahem!
How to combat excess chin-skin ( source ):
1.} Stay hydrated: skin’s less likely to wrinkle.
2.} Maintain an overall healthy body fat percentage.
3.} Do daily, five second face/neck stretches ( see below & thank me later ).
As you know I’m all for prevention, prevention, prevention.
So everyday I give myself a daily, mini facelift. How?
It’s so easy it’s kinda ridic.
TSConf five second facelift:
Lift you head towards the ceiling and lift up & down ten times. This works really well while practicing yoga too.
We covered the importance of a daily Kegel ( or ten ), so why not add exercises to improve the face/neck too?
I mean, right?
This source shares two other neck/face exercises. Check it:
- While still sitting or standing up straight, roll your lips over your teeth and open your mouth as wide as possible, then tilt your head back. Hold here for 30 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds. Repeat 2 times.
- Lie on your bed with your head hanging off the edge. Slowly lift your head up until your neck is in line with your torso. Hold for 10 seconds, then lower slowly back towards the floor. Rest for 10 seconds and repeat 2 times.
Ok, ready, set, facelift. I literally do practice these everyday— if you see me driving & practicing them, I apologize in advance.
HTG!!

I hang myself upside down everyday to get my blood flowing the other way as well as daily head massages and lymph node brushing. I love this and will add it to my daily routine! Lots of love and Happy Turkey Day!
Great info! Just read, as I’m all tucked into bed…and burst out laughing. .picturing doing this & my husband/kids catching me. Pain for beauty! 🙂
Thank you!
Okay, this is fabulous! And what easy little tricks to add into your day-to-day routine. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Adding this in to my daily routine x
Ok, so I love your blog, but I’m old. Like 18 years older than you. And I’ve never done a neck stretch in my life. And I just want you to know, with your best interest in mind, that these exercises are not necessary. It’s all genetics and maybe face cream. Use face cream on your neck, keep your weight down and you’re good. If you still have issues, don’t be afraid to see a surgeon. Sorry, just saying! Don’t waist your youth worrying about staying young. It’s a waist of time. Just watch the sun, keep your weight down, hydrate and you’re golden:)
Thanks for the tip to stay hydrated. I agree that this can go a long way to reducing skin wrinkles. It probably helps your skin to be less dry, as well.
Hey!!!
Plastic surgery is the best method to reshape your body and to get rid of saggy skins under your chin or neck. One can get his desired look and shape.
Thank you for the great sharing
