I am a planner…sometimes. Since I get super bitchy when I don’t have a snack [ AKA the right snack ] every couple of hours, it was mandatory I brought a few staples in my luggage. I am not one of those “breakfast, lunch, & dinner” people; I’m definitely more of a snacker- with a specific preference. Soooo. Some odd packing additions: different kinds of Lydia’s Organic bars, pumpkin pie spice [ cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, & ginger ], Pyure Stevia sweetener, & Weight Watcher’s Mint Patties [ << so delicious ]. And thus far, each has come in handy = the bars for an easy, fiber-filled snack, the spice to add to coffee, Pyure for a sweet taste w/o sugar, & the mints for a quick chocolate fix. Even though I was scolded for packing way way way too much, whatever {!}, at least I was prepared ; ).

I always pack way to much myself! I use stevia in my coffee and was devastated when I forgot to pack some on my most recent vacation! Those bars look delicious! Always key to packing travel snacks!

Awesome tips! I don’t think I’ve ever tried Lydia’s, but I like to take Lara Bars when I’m traveling. I also like dried fruit & fish jerky or dried fish, yum! And I’m a member of WW, but I haven’t tried any of their food products yet — but I will!

I am in total agreement with you. I’m not a three meal kinda gal either. I have to snack. If I don’t eat every two – three hours I feel sick and lightheaded and am likely to get a migraine.

I have to make sure I have the right kind of snacks on me that are a) healthy b) nutritious and kep me going and c) tasty. The times I have forgotten them are usually the days when I go off track.

    Great post.

I love putting cinnamon (and sometimes ground cloves) in with the grounds when making coffee at home. So much more flavor than just sprinkling it on top. I’ll have to try it with the pumpkin spice.

I am for sure a snacker. I get so grouchy when I dont snack so I abide by the requirements of my body 🙂 And like you, I am organised when it comes to packing my snacks, whether its for work, a day out or vacation – my boyfriend thinks its hilarious. I think its hilarious when he has to suck it up and ask for a snack….:)
