I AM VERY (!!!), VERY, VERY EXCITED to share this recipe with you guys.

Why??

Because CANDY MARGARITAS!!!

That’s right, a Skinnygirl® Sweet ‘N Tart Margarita, specifically.

I imagine myself poolside with a huge brimmed hat, casually sipping a colorful margarita that matches perfectly with my watermelon & flamingo pool floaties while ‘The Girl From Ipanema’ softly plays in the background.

Ahhhh, #instagramgoals.

Oh! You want to end summer the same way?…Perfect. Just watch how easy this candied Skinnygirl® Margarita is to whip up:

HOW GIRLY RIGHT?!?!

(insert Emoji pink nails here).

Not only is this a super princess-y cocktail, it’s also EASY. And you know how I love EASY.

All ya do is:

Skinnygirl® SWEET ‘N TART Margarita

2 parts Skinnygirl® SWEET ‘N TART GRAPEFRUIT MARGARITA 1/2 cup of sparkling water
1/2 grapefruit, juiced or squeezed
5 blackberries, muddled
A sprig of basil
Sweet and tart flavored candies, crushed

Directions: crush up sweet and tart flavored candies in a bowl with a mallet. Make sure they’re different colors to add some flair. Muddle about 5 to 8 blackberries, boysenberries, or blueberries (your choice). Grab a small cocktail glass, add ice, Skinnygirl® SWEET ‘N TART GRAPEFRUIT MARGARITA, & top with sparkling water. Leave a little space in the glass to squeeze half an organic grapefruit on top of mix. Add muddle berries & mix with a stirrer. Garnish with a fresh leaf of basil. YUM!

This cocktail is 1.) super light. 2.) only slightly sweetened from the crushed candies and 3.) low in calories/sugar ( thanks Skinnygirl®! ).

Little backstory on Skinnygirl® Cocktails: I flew to NYC a few months ago to meet with Bethenny Frankel & her team to learn about the product. Firstly, they don’t add chemicals & secondly, their products are ideal for women who live a balanced lifestyle. Think: the woman who works her ass off but likes a glass of wine at night.

THEY GET IT, LOL!

Anyway, meeting with Skinnygirl® Cocktails was so amazing because not only did I learn about the products, but I was also able to taste test & pick out my favorite flavors to share with you guys! They have so many different cocktails/snacks, so it was obviously tough but it’s certainly no surprise that the Sweet N’ Tart flavor was one of my favorites.

( And of course, hearing Bethenny speak about her career was pretty damn cool too. She really is a dynamic, inspiring, amazing woman…no wonder I’m so obsessed with her products! )

Oh, & by the way, this margarita might be the cutest thing on earth for: baby showers ( can you drink at baby showers? Sure hope so! ), bridal parties, bachelorette soirees, &/or a Tuesday night viewing of The Real Housewives of New York City (super fitting because Ms. Skinnygirl® Cocktails herself is the star ).
