Ohhhh yes.
You that read that right: chia seed jam.
Made by yours truly.
Which can be VERY easily whipped up by YOU GUYS in 4.5 seconds.
Jam is my jam.
I LOVE it. It’s just so damn yummy on a piece of toast with a little grass-fed butter. But it’s full of weird fillers.
Don’t worry though, I gotcha covered. Check out this video:
Basically all you do is take your favorite berry ( mine’s raspberries but I also like boysenberries ), 1 to 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, & mash it together with a fork on a cutting board. Spread it on your favorite bread & you’re good to go. For a recipe without chia seeds click here.
& of course, chia seeds are full of healthy benefits: they’re filling, a total superfood, and full of calcium, potassium, iron, & protein.
I seriously make this recipe at least four times a week. & honestly? This jam is ideal for anyone’s who’s always running out the door like a freaking psycho every morning. AKA me.
Sometime I add a pinch of stevia or a squeeze of lemon too.
Ultimately, the goal of The Skinny Confidential is to make things simple for busy people who want to live a balanced life. And this recipe is SO simple!! It’s one that will work EVERYDAY.
Because sorry I’m not sorry, that I don’t have time to make handmade perserves like Suzy f-ing Homemaker.
Try this & let me know your thoughts! Happy Thursday, x.

Exactly how I make mine, too! My baby girl loves it!
Love it! What a good mama.
Great one! I’ll have to do this tomorrow.

Ohh that’s a great idea! I always mash up my fruit on toast from some reason but I will have to try it with chia seeds. Maybe tomorrow morning 😀
That looks so yummy and easy! I made a chia jam once, but it was on the stovetop so I am definitely going to have to try yours out seeing that it takes literally seconds to make. Love the video!
Yum, literally, I’ve been addicted to chia lately. Plain beverage – better with chia. Coconut pudding – better with chia. Almond milk – better with chia.
I’ll have to try your jam soon, seriously.
YUM!! So good. xx.
Best recipe ever!! SO simple & delicious! Will be trying it this weekend (&probably every weekday after that!)
Thanks for sharing!

Such an excellent idea, and so quick.
I used to eat a bunch of chia as a kid (more or less against my will) so I was never the biggest fan but am trying to change that and this will probably be a good step in that direction!
This is why I love your blog! Simple, delicious, and perfect! I don’t have time to whip anything up with a laundry list of weird ingredients that I’ll use once. Can’t wait to someday see a really thick cookbook from you! 😉 I had to say thick cause I love love all your ideas!
How long would this last in the fridge?
I’m a HUGE fan of chia seeds…and jam…hooray!!! Can’t believe I’ve never tried this. My next piece of toast will be smothered in the magicalness of chia seed jam.
Thanks!

I am most definitely making this TODAY. I am all about the no-equipment-required recipes, so this is beyond perfect! So so much better than the nasty individual packets of jam at my college dining hall.
LOVE this – and thank you for not being Suzy F-ing Homemaker, lol!!! xoxo! Sarah
What a good idea! I would have never thought of doing this and it is super easy!!
OMG, YES. Easy breakfast idea~!!
This is recipe is perfect. I’m literally always running late so I will most definitely be trying this asap! xx
Love this idea. I’ve just discovered chia seeds and have been adding them to my homemade granola. This is ideal if I’m late for work! 🙂
Love chia seed jams! This speedy one sounds great for when I’m short on time!
Super yum!

That looks really delicious. I plan to try it myself. Do you toast your Ezekial bread?
As I am also running out the door like a psycho every morning this is something I have got to try!
Hahah! : )
I just finally got around to making this for breakfast this morning! Love it! Definitely going to make it a regular breakfast!
Hello! Thanks for sharing this article. I will make breakfast tomorrow. It’s amazing!
I love this recipe!
