I drink “Sprite” at least five nights a week.
But it’s not real Sprite.
EWWW! Sick! Gag/barf/throw!!!
I mean…let’s get real, I’d rather die than drink Sprite.
J/K…kinda.
Anyway, I’m super excited to share a top-secret homemade Sprite recipe ( invented by my friend, Mike ) that I’m literally OBSESSED with:
Can we just talk how amazing this bubbly lil recipe tastes?
Mmmkay, let’s talk about it:
First of all, it’s like ten calories. Zero artifical sugar. Fresh & clean ingreds. The ‘soda’ contains lemon & lime & mint & blackberries. Super clean, right?
Some benefits:
Lemon = helps neutralize free radicals & contains antibacterial properties.
Lime = an excellent weight reducer & benefits the skin.
Mint = a natural stimulate & promotes digestion.
Blackberries = super high in vitamins & antioxidants.
Plus soda water ( note: use a soda water with barely any sodium ) is sooo filling!
FYI: this version ‘Sprite’ happens to be the most refreshing thing, ever.
Don’t believe me?
I’m enjoying a chilled glass ( bible! ) as I write this post.
Oh, & on Fridays, it may or may not taste good with a coupla splashes of vodka.

Delish!! Throw some gin in there and you’ve got yourself a gorgeous summer cocktail too 🙂
Caterina, I like the way you think!
brilliant idea!
Love this I always make myself a mineral water with lime so delish!
This is basically ALL I drink in the summer lol. Well, minus the Stevia. I’m not sure why I didn’t think about adding it before, though! Great idea! 🙂
Brilliantly simple! Love thiss
I make drinks like this all the time too!! Lemon water, Berry water, Apple water…just minus the stevia…Ew talk about gross!!
This is AMAZING! I love sparkling water, so I don’t know why I’ve never thought to add natural flavours to it. This will definitely be happening in the near future. 🙂

Thanks for this! I stopped drinking any kind of coke (or soda) about a year ago (I was a 2 can a day diet coke junkie) but I do splurge once every month or so. Since I don’t drink them very often anymore though, they’ve started tasting pretty chemically, syrupy, sugary, yucky instead of being a “treat” so I’ll have to try this next time I have a craving for one!
This is truly a great one. You have saved us!!
Looks so good!
I’d choose this over Sprite any day! Yum! 🙂
genius! it probably tastes way better than Sprite too! Also, just wanted to thank you for your egg white french toast recipe. Made it today and it was delish!
Mmmm this sounds so delish and refreshing 🙂
Have you tried Zevia? It’s a “soda” sweetened with Stevia. Curious if you’d approve?
OMG!!! Thank you sooooo much for this recipe. I’m in the middle of ending a very icky love affair with Dt. Coke and this recipe is going to come in handy.
xo,
MJ
Made this for my friends at my Superbowl party and it was a HUGE hit! We of course added vodka and it was so delish and refreshing! Thanks for posting it.

Wow that’s looks so good! I’m definitely trying this recipe.
I can’t get over how refreshing this drink is! LOVE!
Thanks for this recipe…I love sprite but this is healthier so gotta try it!
The problem with this is the stevia. Artificial sugar is just as bad for you as regular sugar. In fact worse, it has the same bad effects as sugar and more. Let me explain, your only suppose to have 8 grams of sugars a day. Long story short the processed food companies made sure this word didn’t get out. Now you think you know what happens with sugar but most of you dont. All food turns into sugar. We can’t do anything about that. When you eat nuts, fruit , vegetables, and etc the fiber slows down how fast your body digest the sugar. That is important because when you eat stuff that isn’t packed with fiber all the sugar is rushed down your body; your body can’t handle it so it makes the sugar insulin. Insulin is storage also known as fat. Now I know your gonna hate about this but the truth sucks. After all sugar has been found more addictive then cocaine & heroin!!!
Stevia is a natural sweetener.
This looks SO GOOD. I wonder if it would be nasty without the Stevia?
On weekends, rather than adding Vodka, try it with Gin. Gin7UP was my grand-ma’s drink of choice and I found that out (or was reminded anyway) when I asked for one myself at my parents over the holidays.
I’ll try your recipe once I get my Soda
SOOOO much better for you than the corn syrup and artificial flavoring concoctions you can get at the store! I kicked my soda habit cold turkey, but it would have been ten times easier if I had this recipe! And, as Caterina said, it’s the perfect base for a gin cocktail.
How many grams is in a packet of stevia please ?
Kerry x
Just one. x
Your writing style and smarminess is so annoying that even though I’m looking for a recipe like this I refuse to use it. Grow up.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I’m trying this next weekend for my birthday party! Nice and amazing recipe shared by you, thank you so much for that.
Hi Lauryn, Thanks for the shoutout. I am going to steal your recipe for my home party!!
yayay!! hope it goes well!
