Here’s a thought:
So. Just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean your dreams/wishes/wants are going to come out of thin air. ESP if you’re sitting on your ass.
Instead of making tons of resolutions & promises to yourself regarding fitness/health/diet goals, actually follow through with them. Create a habit out of working out daily. Create a habit to fuel your bod with healthy, clean foods. Create a habit to drink water all day. Create a habit to be the healthiest, happiest version of yourself.
And soon those habits will be like brushing your teeth. Easy, peasy.
Don’t be that person next year that is blabbing about the same old, repetitive resolution. I beg, I beg.
I mean, honestly…don’t even make resolutions at all if you know you can’t keep it.
No one likes a flake. Cheers to following through!

It is why I like the 5:2 diet, it’s something I can see becoming a lifestyle option for me, along with walking more, drinking green tea (which I quite like) and smiling!
Happy new year to you
I very much agree! It’s better to set up goals that you acctually can achieve! I can’t stand the people going from 0 to 100 just because it’s a new year… 🙂 Thx for a good and inspiring blog!
Happy new year 🙂
I agree with you. I’m always so sad to see all of the new faces joining the local gym where I’m at after NYE disappear again after a month or two.. I think making goals are a good way of motivating yourself, but if you haven’t found any need to make them until the last day of the year – in a moment of guilt after eating waaay too much during Christmas – it’s probably better to wait a couple of weeks until you sign in for a 12 month membership. Just sayin’. 🙂
