Birthday Fun: Tube Tops, Retirement Home Clubbing, & The Most INSANE Lip TREATMENT

IT WAS MIMI’S BIRTHDAY TWO WEEKS AGO! Thought I would give you guys all the fun, festive details because we had such a nice time.

Mimi was turning 21 ( she’s a big part of TSC Team ) & we were stuck working in LA so our friend, Jamie, set up a very clubby night for her & some of her friends.

Michael & I had to really dust off our dancing shoes- I mean normally we like a 6 PM early bird special & we’re in bed by 10 PM, reading & drinking Calm Tea. OH HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED!We ended up having to work into the night Friday, but squeezed in a team meeting at Gracias Madre ( go there ASAP & get chips, salsa, & an extra skinny jalapeño margarita ).

After our work situation was over, we had the opportunity to try Delilah ( thanks to Jamie!! ). If you’ve been there, you know it feels like you’re in the show Mad Men. Very vintage in the best way possible.

Then plot twist- it was time to go clubbing!!

We headed to Poppy to celebrate Mimi- SURPRISE- more champagne !!! LOL. Michael & I are retired so Michael was busy zooming in on our chihuahuas on the nanny cam we set up.

No really, I kid you not- he was in a club with blasting hip-hop, zooming in on the dogs. I feel like we need to get him to bed before 9 PM always now.REGARDLESS: HAPPY 21ST TO MIMI. AKA the last year you’ll be able to wear a tiara for your birthday. I kid, I kid. Anyway, as always I wanted to share some details with you:

CAKEEEE! OMG. The cake was hand decorated by Christal’s Cakes- she really thought of every detail. As you can see the flowers were STUNNING. If you’re looking for a cake in LA, Christal is your girl. She can really do it all. What’s better than flowers, frosting, & homemade cake? HMM, can’t think of much.Well maybe one thing: a good LIP TREATMENT. Lately, I have been really focused on my lips. You know this if you’re subscribed to TSC YouTube channel.

Lip wrinkles are REAL- especially since I love straws. So recently Algenist sent me this vegan collagen lip treatment & I’ve been carrying it around in my purse ever since. I noticed that lately my lips are plump & fluffy.

I come to find out, the product is this fun botanical lip enhancer with all these tiny beads of micro-algae oil. No really- it has active plant collagen. You can expect no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates which is nice too. I like it. So does Mimi because she stole my other bottle for her birthday. SO YES! Wanted to share our ( retirement ) club night. Feel free to wish Mimi a happy birthday below- she still wants to celebrate weeks later ! What girl doesn’t though? Like she’s still wearing her tiara.

With that I’m off to watch Southern Charm- the obsession with Patricia is real. Have you read her book? It’s SO GOOD. I spent last weekend reading it front to back- she has so much wisdom. NEVER really watched Southern Charm until lately & now I’m obsessed.
